420 Magazine Sponsored Grow Extravaganza Featuring NextLight Mega, GeoFlora Nutes & More!

I will make a side observation at this point... I am not planning on using the product that you are to prep the soil with before the grow, the Soil Activator. It is my understanding that the week 00 application of the veg product is going to bring in necessary minerals and the microbes to deal with them, and I plan on watering that 5 gallon container of soil with a solo cup hole in the middle of it, a good week or more prior to transplanting in there with that week 00 application of Geoflora Veg. That should be all the soil prep that will be necessary, but I will be carefully observing how fast your plants get going out of the gate, compared to mine. I also have Vulx helping to supercharge my soil, but other than that, I don't plan on adding anything to this grow other than the base veg and bloom nutrients, and a foliar feed of aloe and lactobacillus serum a few times to battle the outside stuff. Already this is getting interesting!

Did you get the feeding chart with the geoflora? Seems to be something they don’t like to give to people, even know it says it comes with one. And the ignore you when you ask for one.
it is simple, and it is right there on the website. You apply the recommended amount of granules and water it in, every 2 weeks.

It's right on their website, Brother, under the "Products" option from the main menu:

Yeah, I'm not sure I'll need the activator, either, since, as you point out, there are microbes in the veg mix. Also, I've been cooking a mix of Pro-Mix HP & EWC for about three months, now, so it should be pretty active already. Also, I have to re-check the dosages, but I think the amount of Activator they sent won't be enough for four #10's. The Vulx is probably a very good addition! :thumb:

Also, I am jealous of that hat!
I'm lovin' it, too! :ganjamon:

So, this was incorrect. :sorry:
The Activator says that 3.5 oz. treats 21 gallons and they sent a 15 oz. package, so there's plenty. :thumb:

NEXTLIGHT MEGA INSTALLED!

I took some time this afternoon and got the NextLight Mega installed. This is a pretty big light measuring 37" square so gives great coverage in a 4'x4' tent and is rated for flowering in a 5'x5'. :thumb:

I didn't find the dimmer switch, but that may have been shipped separately since it's not normally included with the light, so I haven't had a chance to play with that, yet.

Here's what the light looks like hanging:

And, since you got a glimpse of the plants, may as well meet them.

Here's a group pic:

And, Medical Seeds Mendocino Purple Kush:

I'll be starting them on the GeoFlora nutes next feeding and will get some better plant pics soon.

Happy Harvests!

Whew! Made it :ciao: Nice launch Mr. Krip :thumb:

Everything looks great and this dry application sounds very interesting.

How is it applied? Is it top-dressed onto the soil or added to water when it’s needed (I’m asking about the nutes, not the soil activator :) )?

I’m feet-up ready for the show!
