420 Magazine’s Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By Cr8grow

Great to see a grow from the scratch. You reminded me my old days. I was building these wooden cabinets with the saw on my Swiss army knife. These were rough days but your project looks dreamy. I was going to suggest something for the filter box but I'm sure you sealed it pretty good. Is it HEPA filter? I've never tried these to filter cannabis smell. Would like to know more about the filter :passitleft:

I wasn't posting much for a while but I'm off work for 6 days. I'm smoking too much for weeks and skipped the mag. for too long. I always have the terrible habit to try finishing my stash. Well, seems like 700 grams is enough to keep me medicated for 5 months. I think I'll still have some more Pink Kush when I harvest the next batch. Feels good to be back after a stressful business period.

Cheers :lot-o-toke:

TC, Happy you stopped by. This will be my 6th grow in my 3x3 ft. cabinet. The HEPA filter is a 1”x10x20 that filters intake air. I change the HEPA filter every grow. My intake at the back on my cabinet is more than 4x my 4” exhaust fan, which is the recommendation. The light block intake interior is painted flat black and has alternating baffles to prevent any light from entering the grow cabinet. I sealed all with caulk and black Gorilla tape inside. I also tape around the filter to prevent leaks. I use a carbon filter at top of cabinet for odor control. That set up brings in cool fresh air low and pulls up through the cabinet and out the top. I can usually get 2 grows per carbon filter, but my last grow (glue) was exceptionally smelly. Good luck with the Pink Kush harvest.

Day 7, end of week 1. I will be away for a bit but have someone who will tend to the seedlings. A small amount of veg food will be added starting tomorrow. Transplant into 5 gallon pots will be late next week. Hard to believe I will be flipping in probably 4 more weeks. Pics from this morning.

Hi cr8.

I didn't see this anywhere but what nutes and supplements will you be using for this grow?

HEPA filters are almost useless for odour but amazing at keeping the space clean. if your in a basement for example they are amazing, I should get myself one again tbh.

VetSmoke85, I like the clear cup in the solo cup to check root development...saw it here somewhere and will always use to start photoperiods. Up-pot will happen soon.
heh, i was wondering about the clear cups myself. i really like the min airpots to start. you cant really over water them, get faster root development and yeayh, you can leave them longer before up potting which is something I prefer, but the clear cup is a great idea, I saw it in here somewhere aswell first :)

Curbcalamity...great to see you stop by. Yes, the HEPA as my passive intake works great and is a bit grungy after every grow in the unfinished section of my basement.

Roots are developing nicely...will up pot this week.

Work intruding on my life...way behind on proper attention to these WSE GSC vigorous seedlings. Finally mixed soil and filled four 5 gallon pots yesterday. Roots well developed and easy to see with the clear cup inside the solo cup. Today transplanted 4 of 5 seedlings into 5 gallon pots. First full deep watering including veg nutes, cal mag and Superthrive. Humidity will increase in the cabinet by tomorrow. Stats earlier today 82F (64 to 82) RH 30% (27-47). Added a couple handfuls of Mosquito Bits to each pot before watering to knock down FGnats. The odd plant out showed early deficiencies and was down selected. I will keep for a few days as back up in case I have any transplant shock. I expect serious changes here in the next veg week including some topping and LST. Light set at 24”...may need to raise a bit to force some early stretch. Pics from tonight, Day 20.
