420 Magazine’s Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By Cr8grow

Day 77 from sprout, end of Week 4 flower. Trimming out the last of the low suckers and small flowers today and tomorrow. The sugar leaves are very frosty and will make some fantastic hash. The buds themselves smell putrid….that will change. No issues or concerns at this point and I never saw one fungus gnat. These are the tallest plants I’ve grown and will need to sort out support tomorrow as some branches are starting to lean a bit when I pull them from the cabinet. Maybe just some string tied around all. The flowers will get a lot heavier the next few weeks and I don’t want to snap off even one. I’m still running the 4k bulb, will probably swap in the 3k flower bulb sometime next week, later into flower than usual. The plants grew another inch surprisingly, tallest now at 28”. Watching other grows I’m assuming 8-10 weeks flowering, so 4-6 weeks more here. I will chop when mostly cloudy and just a bit of amber, as GSC is already 80% indica. I have a good stash of heavy indica, so looking for a more hybrid effect for appetite. I’m anxious to see the double bud fully ripened. Pics from today.

Looking great @cr8grow

Looks like you have a mutant there ^^^^ fasciation - is that just the one flower or is it the whole plant?

Fasciation is a flower mutation that is sort of banded. Instead of a rounded top shape its got a larger wide band.

You got it going there cr8. Good job. What was the organic nutrients you're using ... PM me please.

Day 81, half way through week 5 flower. No issues noted today, will probably need water and feed in a couple days. The double bud may be a triple bud, hard for me to tell…it stands right out. I’m seeing some purple calyxes and expect at least the left from plant will express more purple as flowering progresses. Pics are from this morning.

Bobrown14, It is just the one mutant bud on one plant. Nutes info coming your way. Cheers

Got it thanks. Kinda sorta looks like that whole plant wants to do that fasciation but cant quite get her stuff together. Maybe she might change a little more later on. Looks pretty cool tho.

I wonder if those flowers are more potent? I'm thinking they have more trichomes than the normal flowers. Just a thought tho.

Gorgeous group of happy and healthy plants. Great job Cr8

Rexer…I’m seeing you around and want to check out your grows, but can’t find a link to a grow journal. Found some pics of a superskunk grow, also interested. Any links…could be operator error. :bongrip:
Hey cr8grow

Thanks for asking

My last grow was here:
Rex's Perpetual Hydroponics, LED, 4x4 Tent Using TBC 10 Gal System: All Are Welcome, Come Learn & Help

Though I recommend skipping to page 14 lol, lots of flooding and new system pains. I'm still happy with it, I had the three autos going, I managed to get roughly (dried and rough trimmed)
100g,240g, and the 3rd is still drying up (and was also the biggest).

Rexer, headed over to check it out, may take a bit to catch up. Thanks for checking out my GSC comparative grow. Cheers

Cr8grows gr8grow. Impressed with this grow mate. Beautiful plants and really made the most of your space. Seriously well done. :bravo:
Thanks, appreciate feedback from experienced growers ( and new growers as well). I will say it again, genetics #1in my opinion, then take care of the plants basic needs. These are some smelly plants that I know will be great after cure. Cheers

Day 84 from sprout, end of Week 5 flower. All rotated, fed and watered today. No apparent issues or pests upon inspection. The 3k flower bulb will be swapped in this weekend to finish flowering; assume another 3 to 5 weeks max. Bud sugar leaves are starting to purple up on the edges, left front plant close up is evident. Very happy with the bud frost, they will be sticky after cure. I’m also seeing some pistils turning orange up top. The smell has ramped up incredibly since last week…these plants reek. Pics are from this afternoon.

Day 88 from sprout, mid Week 6 flower. I finally swapped in the 3k flower bulb after lights out yesterday, the plants woke up to a different sunrise today. There are some variations in flowers plant to plant, different pistils, shape and hues. I will cure and jar up separately. The sugar leaves are getting very frosty and the buds continue to swell. A few more weeks probably, will scope a bit next water. The double bud is getting bigger. The left rear plant has big calyxes and very tiny pistils making it look almost ready now. Next feed and water in the next day or so.

Day 91, end of Week 6 flower. All fed and watered yesterday after slight wilt, pots were light. I reduced flower nutes by 1/3 based on feed chart late flower. I will keep guano tea at full strength until final watering, which will be PH adjusted water only. Looks like 2-3 more weeks to chop, scoped trichomes will dictate when mostly cloudy with a touch of amber. The flowers are getting frostier and denser by the day, predict some amazing sugar leaf hash. No sign of any issues or pests. I’m pleased with the @Weed Seeds Express GSC genetics, real beauties. Also, the rank smell is now ramping down and changing for the better, as I knew it would. Still pretty loud.
