420 Canuck Seeds Cr8grow Grandaddy Bruce Comparative Grow Party

Plants ready, chopped all four last night. 10 weeks from flip, calling it 9+ weeks flower. Pulled the light out of the cabinet. I like the new LED. Drying rack installed, I cut and hung individual branches this time rather than whole plants. Each was a heavy colorful frosty handful. New humidifier, going slow dry controlled at 60% RH, 10 to 14 days. This might be my largest harvest. Thanks again @Canuck Seeds for the Grandaddy Bruce genetics and the free seeds for this 420 comparative grow. Not apparent, but the other two plants’ branches are hanging in the back of the cabinet. Traveling the rest of this week, will catch up soon. Cheers

Nice haul right there!! I see some nice purple too!! Well done Growmie!! Smoke report later?? Happy Friday!! 😎✌️

I’m back from a week of travel to Montreal. I will catch up on all threads this weekend. Traveling next week to Munich. I will hit Schneiderweiss and Weihenstephen…prost.

Saturday 4/20, day 5 of slow dry with humidifier set at 60% RH. Back from travel and humidity was 66%. I added a timer today to run cabinet ventilation (which was off) 15 minutes every two hours pulling in dry cool air. I will tweak fan to average 60% RH. It’s there right now. I spread out trimmed branches from each plant ♥️♦️♣️♠️ by adding a coat hangar to each line. No signs of mold. I travel again next week but have a plant sitter. Going into Grove bags after trim, likely next weekend. Trimmed a tester bud and left it in the Sun to dry a bit…purple green frosty nug. Cheers

Lengthy stretches of travel messing with my work/life balance. Happy to be home for a bit. I went with a 13-15 day slow controlled dry, then into Grove Bags. I used the recommended moisture meter. @HashGirl, thanks for tracking the Canuck Seeds Grandaddy Bruce 420 comparative grows. I will sample buds after 4 weeks of cure. Really enjoying the gram of fine cream colored kief…amazing bowl sprinkles. Smoke report later, yield report now. It is my highest yield so far in my 3’ x 3’ cabinet…also with a new LED light. My longest veg at 5 weeks + 2 weeks seedling start. 28 grams mixed popcorn buds. Nice trimmed buds: 10♥️ 60 grams, 10♣️ 63 grams, 10♦️58 grams, 10♠️ 54 grams. A bit over 9 ounces…Plus sugar leaf almost 3 ounces…ice hash soon. I will catch up here on 420 soon. Cheers

Grandaddy Bruce final smoke report. Cured buds 7+ weeks in Grove TerpLoc bags. No burping, buds firm but still supple. Final yield after sample buds is 2 ozs. each plant, 1/2 pound total. Plus 1 oz. larf buds for joints and 3 ozs. Trim for ice hash, crrently in the freezer. Jarred all buds today with 62% Bovedas but could have left in Grove bags for long term storage. 4 phenos range from mostly purple to blond/green, all covered in trichomes and red hairs. Smell is very sweet candy, some grape, fuel, mint and faint skunk back. Smoke is very smooth, zero harshness. This is potent medicine. Sativa rush upfront is noticeable almost immediately. Then body stone sets in. Easy to stay motivated, but relaxing. Definitely makes me hungry, key for me. @Canuck seeds great genetics, thanks for the opportunity to grow out these special plants. Cheers.
