I got dogs in the house to let me know if peoples around and they do let me know
got cams around the house, interior doors also have locks on them
and if theyre stupid enough to come in and cause trouble theres other things to deter or stop them

Sorry to hear about your dog S1ing. If mine were ever to vanish I would come unglued. Don't know about your jurisdiction, but in my state, if video and audio are recorded together, they will not be admissible as evidence, so most people go for the obvious video recording only here. I knew a guy that owns a bar that is outfitted dome cameras that rotate and zoom in really nice. He was able to access all those feeds via his computer and I'm sure now his smart phone too. You could really get high tech and pricey if ya want. I think the motion email cams would suffice for what you're trying to capture. Does the kit take still shots or does it record like a 30 second shot too?
Man I dont know the mobile hotspot I picked up (which is fricked SWEET! 15 dollars for a GB) wont do what I wanted it to unless I spend way more and right now paying my ranch sitter is going to be an added expense and the short term goal is to ge to a new spot. I sent out some chatter so well see maybe a land owner with a HUGE shop will like to medicate for free

sky dvr's can record hrs of feed and you can access them online
and its illegal to record conversations that are not your own in my state
but you can record your own conversations with others
so no sound on cams but as much hrs of feed the dvr will allow
No sound? Good thing I dont think it would be in my best defense if ya know what I mean. I mean think of it how would it sound when I go to feed them in their fricken pit everyday if someone could here that? JK.
HUH? Are you guys saying... if you have a security camera and microphone recording in your house or on your property, and a punk comes in and steals your stuff, then you can't use the audio video recording as evidence?

For this state, that is exactly what the law says, no video AND audio. Of course one could record with both video and audio, then edit out the audio and produce a video feed alone which would then be admissible in evidence.
Like I said for me sounds not needed haha would be to sad to listen to haha

It's a state law that makes little to no sense. IDK if it is codified in other states, but I think it has to do with privacy rights, b/c the thieves that attempt to rob you on your property still have the right to privacy.
