Hey C5, I saw your pics of your two capn style plants, I like but I feel bad that you went out and got those, I had them laying around and for huge containers there fine but in my 5 gallon airpot the center doesn't get as wet, it worked but not optimum, mine was 12" maybe the six or nine would be better.haha the capn shows up with a bigger boat and a new suit avatar,
you guys will need chainsaws to chop those stems,
will it work on a mac?Ok I wanna see the plants actually fight gozilla vs mothra style! Make a movie guys, sling I can get you a copy of Vegas movie studio the 600$ editing program all the pros use you can add special effects too!
I think i need one too if I want my banana plant to look like yoursHey Hiker.... SIZE does matter, and we men will never stop getting out our colas and measuring them. ha ha.
But you're correct, hiker. And after 4-5 weeks in veg they really start to grow exponentially. See my article on how vegetative growth affects yield. What I'm looking to find is the cut off point, or the most yield from two plants and 3 x 600 watts. There comes a time where you can't properly light a plant without a ridiculous number of watts and room size. "Wife of Godzilla" is running out of space in veg, and I won't have room in flower for a couple more weeks :-( I wasn't going to journal her but she is so pretty I may need to.
Sling I think you need the MEGA FARM!
Cubes are about 3/8"-1/2". Chunks are maybe 3/4"-1". The chunks are all that my local hydro store carries and feeling them through the bag leads me to believe their size to be 3/4-1.
What size are those croutons?
They always tell me they can get whatever I want, but I always think (but don't say) that I also can get it off the web, and cheaper. I know they gotta make their $$$ and some products they have in store I know are as much as double the price of what I found on the web. Don't get me wrong, I love to support local establishments when I can afford to and a bag of chunks they list for $40 which is about $13-$17 more than the cubes are online. So in short, if I have the cash on me when I'm at the store, I will only consider products that they have on the shelf and pay the extra for the convenience of it and also to support locally.
No they will reload the tray in the bigger room once the 4 "Cookies" are down and its cleaned up, they will stay in the pots there in till chop! They should be reloaded in less than 8 days from now, quick run is what I call itMade in Europe. 1 centimeter square.
Sling, those plants in fabric pots... those will go in your smaller flower room and flower out in that pot?

Yeah its in bad shape but looking better. It was over four feet tall when we moved, I went back to get the last of ours tuff and there it was half dead, I took it out and cut off 90% or more and the plant had started two suckers or attempts to survive! after transplanting it down in size one part died, what you see is whats left! it should perk up soon! I fed it some food and some comp? tea so well see what it looks like in another week! I got to get it out of my cabin though prob shouldve let it go.your plants look amazing! your banana sprout is experiencing nutrient stress.
Good im glad your not bummed out. Great deal on the AN stuff, I got a great deal last year on the 23L jugs of both grow and bloom two part, duh should've gotten smaller amounts of grow, oops hahaNo need to feel bad,my local store had them on close out,i paid 3 bucks eack, for the large and 1.50 for the smaller ones---I did end up drilling some holes and directing spray to the center of the plants
my local store is great,,its actually a full size nursery and has a hydro shop in the middle of it,great deals(comparable) to internet, good people and they do sales every month
off topic--my last sale, guy says"we can not sell advanced nutrients anymore" so its at 50% off, I said man, pretty stuck on what I have,ok 75% off,,i bought 1500 worth of base nutrients for a little over 350
