Dec4-BB2_Trich3_WithFemalePollenSac.jpg

big thanx to Granny heres a pict of pollen sac. check oyur lower branches. They tend to be down there if not on the very top cola.

Granny and Butcher that is the best pic I have seen THANK YOU both :))The good news is I have none of those. After the meeting with Ed Rosenthall it appears we were just to lose with the light, Ed says that green twistys are just fine been tested in his garden and they are ok! now the walking in and out with fresh water while lights out is not. lol He says NO white light NONE not for a second it confuses the plant and increases your odds of a hermi by allot so dont mess around in the room unless the lights are on, or you MUST
(emergency) and you have done ALL you can do to handel any light leaks. He evan said no flash pics except during light period:peace:
PS My partner said he is one hell of guy straight forward and to the point but in no way pretentious just FYI :ganjamon:

Why 2? Each can handle 48. Make sure you have the 55 gal nute drum outside the room if you can...keep them nutes from getting hot.

The other problem you will have is with the various harvest dates and running nutes for them. The only problem with the Ebb and Flow is that everything connected to it should be on the same schedule...as we all know, different strains take more/less time and we all adjust nutes according to finish. If you do this, make sure the plants are all coming down withing a week of each other...:bong::ganjamon:

Just got to this point before I decided to comment....5 stars and +reps

sorry for the second post, but, if I were you, I would chat with OldGrowerDude or PitViper and find out all the benes/negatives about this system. I have 2 of them, one for veg, one for flower....try to flower plants that will finish real close to the same time...even one week makes a difference.
MH Dave thank you for the rep and the stars :) Room 2 will be 1 strain. We are thinking bubba kush atm. The reason for the 2 systems is because I read somwhere they dont do well past 24? and I Iike the idea of 2 seperate systems to protect 1/2 the crop from a system failure. As far as OGD and Pit I have read there journals and have based alot of what We have done on them, I hope to have some of the success they have had.:thankyou: I'll ask them if there are any weak links (besides me) that we may need to address first:ganjamon: Dave your running 2 of them are you running more than 24 plants ea ? if so do you think any changes are in order?

Plans are/were for 24 on the first run, then 48. Like you, I am beginning to have doubts about 48 as well. I planned on one system started vegging, then another in another room starting 4-6 weeks later. Giving me a crop every 6 weeks or so...think I will do that, but only with 24 as well. After looking at Green Island's set up, I may go to larger pots and then put 2 plants per pot, something I think Pit was doing....I don't know. I have been sitting here for a week trying to recover from broken ribs...that hasn't helped getting things going, but I have gotten a lot, I mean alot of reading in.

On the brighter side of things, my really good friend went and wired everything for 220 for me today, with a dedicated box, just for my grow related needs. He says on lights alone I should save between 30-45% on my bill...that's huge! He wouldn't even let me pay for materials...now that's a good friend for ya!

Will try to finish everything and get started this weekend...it's hard because you can't just bring anyone into your grow to help out....even if it's legal.

:nicethread::peace:
Well first off get better :) I think the base cap system will handel 24 pots ok. but I'll let the pros tell me if its solid. Having 240v to the room is the way to go much safer however 3600 watts at 240v cost the same as 3600 watts at 110v (sorry) our room has a total of 95 amps and with the ac ,fans, co2 lights and controllers we use most of it. Don't cut corners on power supply your home and health are not worth any grow!:peace:

Thanks for the get well...as far as the 220 v 110 is concerned, check this out: Watts Cheaper 110 or 220 Volts, so you are right. I wonder what he was thinking? I do know it was better to have everything separate from the house wiring, so his adding a new Fusebox dedicated to the growspace, was still awesome and it saved me the labor.:peace:[/QUOTE

fastfor20 Now, that room is looking great. Colas every where.:slide:
What difference from the now almost forgotten disaster. WTG:goodjob:

Thanks OMM funny how fast it changes one minute your up the next holy crap !!:thankyou:
One thing I have learned so far is MJ is a very forgiving plant, with some good advice most problems can be handled without to much trouble :cheertwo:
Being this is our first grow it all seems much bigger then it is. I'am happy with our progress so far. We may have been able to do a better job but we have gained way more experiance in this grow (compared to a smooth one)and it wasn't to painfull. It looks like it will be a solid harvest of good quality meds:slide:

For a first grow yours is totally awesome! Hell, for a tenth grow it would be awesome! Someday, someday . . . :bong:

:peace:

Oh yea Fastfor20 your grow is stellar. Especially for a first timer. It was seriously pro-quality if you ask me. You have a serious supply there.

Wisdom lol more like we had no choice!! When life gives you lemons :)
Thanks for the support cocoJoe This is a great avenue for help. When your on fire you want the info a bit faster but we have a solid group of growers and I,am learning that if you pay attention to the plants you have time to solve all but the most serious problems. Thanks agian for the kind words:peace:

That right there is the key to growing successfully. Learning to read your plants. They may not be able to speak but they can clearly tell you what is going on. Catching a problem early can mean the difference of losing a little bud or losing an entire crop.

Man - this is a dream setup. I am really interested to see what you decide with the E&G. I have two of them myself, with 6-8 pots on each. I have found having two has saved me numerous times when I have to do something with a res. I can just put a hose from the end of one group to the other plants, and both groups get fed off one res temporarily.

I only have a 20G res and I find that it is maxed out with 12 plants - that's simply how much water is in the res to be pumped up to the buckets. As you know - the gravity action to the last pot can be pretty slow, so if you have more pots on a single controller - I think they usually expect you to put more holes in the controller and run more lines - like about 12 pots per feed. If you go more than that on a single feed, I would think it could take 10-15 minutes just to fill the last, and that could affect how you think about timing the watering cycles.

I just medicated so I typed a little more than intended, and much of which I'm sure you know - I can't wait to see what you decide.

Helluva grow!!

+reps and stars if I can

This is why I left soil for coco. Plants in coco talk back faster. Take speed to another level and go full hydroponic.

Thats the plan atm were going with 2 55gal drums I hope thats enough for 36 buckets
