300W LED Soil

Gaping to correct the ph to 6.3 and see what happens that's for the advice. Do you think the soil is dry enough to water it's been a solid week with no water, but soil is still moist. It's hard to get the watering down because when I water the gnats come back!!!! Any info on the leaves behaving they way they are??? Also I wanted to start lst soon. Maybe just tie the main stem down on the side to get better coverage down the main stem. Also about the netting on the side of my grow tent could those be letting in gnats???

I'd wait till its dry on the top one inch. As far as the leaves I'm not sure. I'd water when dry then keep an eye on it. As long as the new growth looks good the plant will be fine.

Thanks so much for your help, advice, and time. Really appreciate it from a 1x grower. U the man.

No problem. It's hard not to do drastic things and just be patient. Did you ever get your humidity down? I had an issue when my lights went off mine would spike to 95% and I'd have water on my plants. Then I started noticing holes and messed up leaves. Got that under control and they haven't got any worse.

Seem to be responding well to the lst. Tried it all but 1, felt a snap and don't want to push it. So it towers above the rest @ 9"
Almost don't drying out going to wait 1 more day, wish I would of bought fabric pots. But other than that the gnats have decreased, but some still linger.
I did order another viparspectra 300 for flowering. Also a inline fan and carbon filter combo off amazon. Should be here next week. Then going to switch to flower ( give or take a week depending on growth) , and start nutrients. Thinking about going with advanced nutrients bloom, micro, grow. Any thoughts???

3x3x70
So my tallest plant . ( no lst) is about 10", My pot is also 10". So the switch will cause a double or even triple?? So by that theory my plants in full flower will get hopefully to around 30". My led's need to be about 15" ( says the manual).
So question is how tall should they get should I let them veg longer it's been 3 weeks and 2 days????

I guess it really depends on how tall you want the plants to get..Remember they will stretch between 2-3x the height they are now...
I have the opposite problem..been doing so much LST,the ladies are only about 10" high, but so friggen wide, the canopy is going to be Huuuuge.. Maybe I will move a plant or 2 outside on my deck...waiting for the weather to stabilize.
Began the flip 12/12 yesterday..yikes..LOL..running 2 450 watt cheapo LED reflectors..Heaven forbid I add some side lighting..

HiYa newgrowr...I know it is a PIA but do you have Pics? Would love to compare as we grow together...Weather has begun getting warm here (Reno) and the tent is heating up a bit...will have to come up w/something...Have Central Air, but the grow room needs RH to be higher than it is naturally..Thinking portable swamp cooler, to cool and keep RH ok..

Got a trellis from the local store, but it was hella big and I didn't wanna grab another one so this will do. Also got some sand to put over the soil to keep the gnats out. If this doesn't work going to use whatever chemical I can.

Plants we're all about 10 to 14" but the net pushed them Down to about 9" all different heights but all lower significantly.

Starting calimagic, and fox farms base for flower only. They lived of the ocean forest for about 4 weeks probably a little too long.

Update 1st week of flower
Smells kicking in big time before I would only smell the Danky skunk smell now it stays with me when I leave.
Seeing a lot of tops, and worried I don't have enough light for them so considering getting a 600hps.

Worried about the roots not getting air due to the sand haven't watered in about 3 days soils still moist down to the run off holes. Any ideas??? Worried about drilling holes but considering going to Home Depot and grabbing a drill bit???

Sand took care of the gnats pretty effectively, I was surprised. Still see one flying but because I probably brought him in when I have it open.!

Biggest concern is air flow going into flower, but getting another fan.

Also when should I start .? Going to wait another week or so
