Hey guys ok got some big news.. all three plants are female! Hooray!! .

They have grown maybe 6 inches since a week or so ago before i flipped. Hoping i dont run out of room, i only have 12" till the light would be touching the top of the tent.. so i really only have 6" to play with maybe lol could take the liter crates out from underneath, that would give me another 4"

Hoping to see some bud growth by this time next week or at least a lot of very large pistils.. enjoy the pics! Group photo taken right after lights on and the preflowers on all three ladies. One is some small branches i cut off and felt like they were useless, did this last week too and it seemed to go well. One is a 3x closeup of the bigger pistils Have a great weekend everyone!

Hey imtoasted. MyDogSpot has a thread going that I'm sure you would be interested in, if you haven't already found it. The plant in your pics fits right in, it sure looks like polyploid to me. (ok, are you guys using Preparation-P) <--- ignore this, it's pretty lame.

Anyways, heres a link to his thread. Post your Polyploids

Sweet thanks for the pics.. perfect timing about to set it all up i think i have everything i need wish me luck haha i have to turn the heat up in my house to get my tent up to 75 degrees so there isn't much heat to disperse, its more for the smell lol

And im not so sure my plants are polyploids i checked out that thread the other day snarly.. thanks though.

Time to get to work!

I only used ducting in between the two because there was a gap in between the filter and fan. I didn't want to distort the filter by tightening the shit out of it

I used ducting from the filter to the fan, but only because I keep my fan outside the tent. It sits on a sheet of packing foam to reduce vibration. It also makes the tent a little less crowded at the top, giving me more flexibility with light placement, and puts less strain on the tent frame.

Yea they are trippy plants.. Sometimes they can be crazy ass good weed.. I've had acouple and both looked great,, but lacked punch.. I have no ida where I got them from or what they were.. But they didn't stick in my mind.. But from all I've heard is it's a good idea to try to save a clone if it's a photo plant. Cause it, a polyploid, you'll never get a repeat of the same. And she could be special.. They use to make polyploids by using some toxic ass shit that rendered the plant unfit to smoke.. But it sure made some strange mutants.. Keepem Green

Here's the chemical,,Colchicine.. Nasty shit.. Not sure if anyone's made this comment already.. But I woodn't know,, seeing I can't read.. JK but kind of true.. But people been making these polyploids for along time.. It's pretty rare for a natural one. I think this chemical is that shit that produces 100 pound tomatos or something like that,, but extremely toxic to eat. Keepem Green

Wow finally got it all finished up almost took me 3 hours. Had to switch everything around in the tent from one side to the other. Didnt really want the intake right next to the plants but i had to do it. The fan and filter take up almost half of the upper space in the tent and i had to move the light over. Cause you dont want your intake and extake on the same side of the tent right?

The fan really sucks in the sides of the tent like crazy, kinda sucks cause its pushing up against the plants even more then before. Oh well im sure they will adapt, poor ladies. I probably stressed them out with all that work and cussing i did lol

Had to extend their light period a bit and accidentally flipped the light on and off a couple times after i had the light off for a little bit. Hopefully that wont mess them all up :( but i had to finish everything and i feel good about it all now.

The filter is pretty close to the light hopefully that wont matter either. How does everything look guys? Im not sure if the intake is that great suggestions on how to make that better? Do i need a fan blowing on the intake duct or should i just put it at the bottom of the door with no fan? Doesnt seem like much air is coming through the intake compaired to the air being blown out by the extake duct.

The fan works very well i have it on medium and it seems to be working perfectly, very happy with the fan and filter i got! Feels great to have everything all set for the rest of the grow! Thanks guys have a good night.

Looks like your setup is good. :thumb:
I'm finding with my setup that it keeps evolving, from ideas I've seen on this forum, from necessity, and maybe from some hairbrained ideas that pop into my head.

I like what Snarly said. It all depends on your environment. For instance, I had to add a window fan to my room in order to keep the temps consistent since it's getting warmer. I ran my 4" fan on med/high with lights on before that. And now after the window fan, I run it on the lowest setting. 2 out of 3 vents open and creating good negative pressure. It's about 70 outside and 74 in the tent with lights on. It's weird to watch the tent suck in initially, but it's great for air circulation. I feel you when it comes to setting that shit up. It can be a pain staking process when you want it just right. Looking good man! Keep up the good work!

If your fan is too powerful, you can use a dimmer switch and dial it down abit if needed.. Thats what I have to do in my room or the window coverings damn near pop off.. Looks like your getting the tent dialed in..
You know alot of really bad things are ok in really small doses.. Look what that botox shots are. It's a form of botulism. They say it's one of the deadliest toxins around,, but they use it to treat all kinds of crap..
GL with the temps,, Keepem Green

Hey man, I just read the entire journal in about an hour haha. I'm watching as a new grower and looking for the advice you and others give during your grow.

Really like your setup and the plants look really great! .

Awesome thanks a lot guys.. the temp seems to not be dropping that much inside the tent at the moment. 73 after lights out isnt good.. gonna stay up a bit and keep an eye on it.

If your exhaust system is working well, when lights are out the inside temp of the tent should pretty much balance out to temp of the intake air. With your setup, you can raise or lower the open end of your intake duct to help with temp control. Warmer air by the ceiling, cooler air at floor level.
:high-five:
