300W LED 2x4x5 Tent Soil Grow

I use a 4" i-power inline fan and filter combo with an active air controller. My tent is 32"x32"x60" and I also use a 300w led. I run the controller on low with lights off and med with lights on. Temp is good and smell is eliminated. Hope this helps.

Yea i plan on running it with my bottom vent/vents open. I run a fan on the outside of the tent blowing air into the one vent and two fans on the inside of the tent blowing air around and have two openings on the top part of the tent open. It works really well but it doesnt help with the smell at all lol

I have a 4" inline with a carbon filter and damn that thing sucks. I have a viewing window on the bottom that I also leave open. I also have a 6" personal fan that blows air in one of the vent holes. Even with both of these "intake methods, the air pressure in my tent is still very negative. The walls of my tent get sucked in. Also one thing thats problematic is the carbon filter/fan sucks out all of my humidity. In flowering stage this will be great but for now I'm adding wet towels and open bottles of water to keep it up a little. Also the smell doesn't seem to leach out at all.

A little late jumping in. But that's not out of the ordinary.

Some things to keep in mind. Your exhaust system should produce negative pressure in your tent. You should be able to see the sides of the tent being sucked in. As for leaving bottom vents open, that is ok for veg, but you will need to consider light leaks when in flower. What I might suggest is getting a length of vent ducting to use as intake, attached to bottom of tent. Most tents have intake ports at the bottom. Keep those rectangular vents closed tight. You can raise or lower the intake ducting as well to draw in cooler air from floor level, or warmer air from ceiling. It wouldn't hurt to add some sort of light trap to the intake ducting as well.

Eliminating light leaks is crucial. You are on the right track for sure.

I've heard that a couple 90 degree bends in the intake duct will stop light. It's best to test with lights on in the tent, and looking into the open end of the intake duct. If you can see any light reflection then you either need more bends or add some form of light trap. Hope this makes sense.

Was it PM? Cause was going to suggest treatn them. My first PM was obvious on the ones thrown in the yard and maybe only a possibility on the tent ones but Im taking no chances. You should green clean/treat them at flip anyways.
My tent intake is the house. I battled/debated on installing intake fan/filter but no need. My Gorilla tents vent block most light great. It has to be bright to penetrate. I had to close the vent by the door. You can go in the room and shut the rooms door and see. It how I figured I was getting slight penetration from the bedroom door at times thinking I was safe. Brightlights correct as in get all the same size fan/filter/ducting. I have 8" and its wonderful. Probably the best thing I did. I exhaust from the top and intake from the bottom vents. Works wonderful.

Great man thanks for that.. no pm thankfully it was just nute burn that started out looking like a white mold. It was weird that it was white but now its brown so no worries there.

The thing i am worried about is my iron deficiency is back and when i watered yesterday the runoff was 6.8, 6.9 and maybe 7.2 for the last one, not good.

Watered at an even 7 i guess the ph didnt drop at all this time going into the soil.. maybe because it was fresh water and the nutes must drop the ph in the soil a little more. Gotta get this fixed soon just flipped to flower. Gonna drive me crazy until they dry up enough so i can water them again. Ahhhh!

Ok guys i splurged tonight while shopping on amazon.. got everything i think i will need to finish out my grow! Cept for the curing stage and ill need some of those nitrile gloves still.

Got a 4" vivosun inline fan and a 4" ipower carbon filter with a good quality $30 power strip. 25' of ducting and a roll of aluminium tape. Also got some tiger bloom and cha ching to complete the ff nutes and i got a duel lense jewelry loupe 30x and 60x with two led lights in it.

Cant wait to get this stuff in my tent.. the ladies are really starting to stink up the place now that ive flipped. My biggest girl is growing pistils like crazy i am so proud of her... will have some pics in a few days, probably saturday since im at work m-f while the light is on during the day.

Also my seeds i ordered through bonza seeds passed through US customs today! Cant wait to get those soon. Getting pumped! Thanks guys take care.
 
I run full speed and have intake coming from both a fan and the viewing window open. With heat being an issue I try and circulate air as much as possible.
