Whats does red stems on fan leaves mean? They have had them for a while.
At least things are looking good in here toast. Smoke one for me! :)

Oh this is great news I really had no clue you can reuse them. Great job I learned more about them today.

Yep, them paks ain't cheap. And I haven't had to toss one yet! Glad to be of help :)

Fine job toasted. Exellent work for your 1st grow. Couple of suggestions for you....cut way down or cut out your N. Leaves very dark, too dark. Should be seeing some fade beginning by now. Excess N at finish tends to impact taste & can cause leafy bud. I'd cut out that Beasty stuff too. Me I'd throw it out altogether. That high PK stuff is awful. Likely why you reported some burnt lower leaves. See the turned down tips & margins with flat leaf back? This isn't the excess N clawing. It's the plant asking for more Calcium....the tips & margins are growing slower than rest of leaf. Adding more Ca will also help your buds bulk up...it bonds with almost everything & push it up to the buds. Most liquid CaMg's use Ca nitrate....use a carbonate or phosphate type Ca. Liquid bone meal or Kelzyme Element XX. Liked your post on how much you love to grow so want to see you succeed. :Namaste:

Great advice a lot of people don't know to use those types of nutes but I always use bonemeal blood mealYou know i came herentrying to spend time with you before i wentnhome and it seems like this is too much for you, I dont want to cause you any hurt or pain i apologize I just wanted a lol time with you worm castings back guano a lot of different things when I'm going soil

Ok so ive got that liquid bone meal coming friday.. hopefully that will help bulk things up a bit! Worried i am too late with it but oh well ill have it for next time as well.

Your journal is great this is my first time checking it out all the way thru you definitely should be proud of yourself Bc this is your first grow, I have been growing since 98 and you pull down just as much if not more brudda, nice beautiful colas and love the passion for growing it's a lifestyle and true growers do everything for there plants as you have done

You're correct...cookies & some kushes do like to stay mostly green. But reducing N by mid bloom is common practice for best results. No link brother. This year marks 50 years since started growing so just sharing a little knowledge & experience gained along the way. :peace:

Fuck, I gots to stop and comment here before I lose my train of thought. Shit its gone!
No really, the beastie blooms is good to know about. I only used it once this tent grow but they will get 4-5 Cha Chings with this grow. When I do the Beasties again (next grow) it will be just once and a 1/16 teaspoon per gal, so like 1/2 per 5 gal instead of the 1 teaspoon per 5 gal.. Ive got a few with slightly burnt tips and curling leafs on a few. No grow big the last 3 feedings and was wondering if I should throw in another before harvest on the ww and chemie, but nope they wont get any. I also wonderd if I should still give them some Cal/Mag with their feed and thats a yes, Ive stopped the Cal/mag the last few feedings but will continue with all feeds from now on. What else, teas, maybe research and add. Its never ending!!
Toasted you did all that with one 300w LED? Nice job!

Hey Toasted wanted to pay it forward for the mammoth p!! Hit up terpinator and ask for a free sample they just sent me a big bottle and sticker and into for free. It was fast also! Don't know if it will help my girls but that's what the free sample is for!! Ha ha!! Hit them up!!! I was surprised by the size if bottle then read directions 10-30 ml a gallon that's a lot! I used it for the first time tonight at 20 ml a gallon. M on day 8 of bloom!!

Youve mentioned this before and I finally wrote this down and will contact. Free, I like that!

N -veg (in/out)
P- boost at flower (in only) .plants never release it.
K- throughout flower (in/out)

The above is correct right? Can someone please confirm.

That being said their must be a difference between osmotic P as the guard cells in stoma are always taking in and releasing osmotic P

.
similar to the rule with osmotic nitrogen or N2 it must first be converted to ammonia before it can be used by living creatures this includes plants. This process is known as nitrogen fixation.

Well if you have seen what i put on my ladies im not so sure it would do much.. ill think about buying it. Its 4 lbs and there isnt anything smaller so idk lol

Kelzyme Element XX comes in 4 lb. bag...if this is what you're looking at, suggest the micronized form. Add right to your feed solution, will dissolve. No worries on Ca toxicity. About the only thing that can go wrong with excess Ca is elevating pH or possible Mg lock out.

Get some Herculean (liquid bonemeal) from Nectar for the Gods.. Or better yet just pay the $28 freight charge by requesting a starter pack off of their website.

Good advice Ask. NFTG may be the only liquid organic line that's truly organic. Owner has degree in organic chemistry. Merging some of it with my traditional organics has been beneficial.

They were grown under crappy fluorescent grow lights for the first two months then i got that viparspectra 300w led and things went crazy, they became all new plants. So sorta all done under one 300w led, i did get a second 300w led, a mars hydro, two weeks ago and they have been loving it. I am extremely impressed with the viparspectra 300w led.. i would go out there and say its probably the best and cheapest led you can buy to veg your plants with and im sure it works just fine for flower but the mars hydro has a better red spectrum for flower so thats why i chose that for my second light and not another viparspectra.

Thanks a lot bignugz i really appreciate that man.. it feels great to be apart of a community who understands and supports what we do. Such a wonderful feeling and i am so happy to be here. Im also so thankful to have all of you 'seasoned' growers reading my journal and giving me advice, you guys dont know how much it means. This is been such an amazing experience so far i cant say that enough lol

I cant wait to get that liquid bone meal, i never thought about the different forms of fertilizers and how the plants absorb them. All that scientific stuff is a little over my head but i do love reading it and trying to understand it. Ive always loved science. Crap got too stoned at lunch gotta go guys talk to ya soon!!

I've got the King Plus 600w LED and I must say I was impressed when it showed up. Then I got the Vipar 300w. First off they are very similar. They both have lights, plugs, daisy chain options, and on/off switches. Aside from that the visual spectrum is completely different. One appears purple as all get out and the other white or blue/white. Not sure but seems obvious to me one is for flower and the other for veg. Thing is the flowering ladies seem to enjoy the white blue more than the purple. I will say though I do enjoy the Vipar aesthetically and the ladies seem to enjoy it more as well.

As for me, well, I've always been one to give the ladies what they want!!!

Well thats not entirely true. NFTG does in fact use some synthetics to preserve them and provide a longer shelf life. They are honorable enough to provide that info on their site. All in all its a good line.
