3 Outdoor Jacks & 1 Hash Passion

but overall the ladies are looking good, but my opinion is biased heavily on the matter!

frisky in the morning i guess, i haven't been able to keep my hands off the ladies the last couple of mornings. i'm up between 5:30 and 6 and have about an hour before my 3 year old makes a move at about 7. boil kettle, pour water into french press, wait 3 minutes and pour a nice lovely coffee and step outside for some alone time with the wonder plants. these things are fascinating. inspired by @Greenlizard

the ladies have had some time at the salon, getting manicured, haircut and style, fresh shower at the end of the treatment. they smell wonderful and are starting to get that sticky feeling all over.

here's Sindy...not the greatest photo with no rear contrast but she could probably use a little more trimming

Bertha...such a beauty, strong citrus lemon-lime fragrance sativa. when i uppotted to the fabric with alice and sindy, i had to untie them and never re-established their ties. didn't know you could do it through the fabric (or bother to try!) but she got up-potted to a larger plastic pot so maintained her tie downs. nice growth pattern.

this is Alice. her appointment at the salon is tomorrow morning between 5:45 and 7.

but when i dropped my lighter between the plywood and these panes of glass yesterday, i pulled the plywood towards me to retrieve the lighter, i was spooked by this little mammal...

now if i could only get this little critter to cough up some guano right into the pots of these cannabis plants, i'd be getting closer to an organic grow...

I've read the lot and looking forward to more! How's that moon water coming along?! I've got some Jack Herers from Green House Seeds, wondering how the phenotypes will look in comparison. Let's hope those dear deers stay away, but you can't blame 'em! :)

welcome timmy! glad you're coming along for the ride...

Beautiful plants,Lion- That Alice is/was a shaggy one- Did she make her salon appt?

I just got caught up in here, I'll be hanging around for the upcoming flower show,if that's ok...
I've got a little outdoor girl that's just popping out her first pistils...She's like a little toy plant compared to yours, but she stinks like a big girl!
I like your journal,it's got that nice, friendly feel to it-and those plants are awesome-you've got some massive yields coming up!

welcome carcass, i'm happy you've got some time to check in on the show. thanks for stopping by...
alice was waiting for her appointment! she saw her sisters get a little spruced up and maybe felt left out, not sure. i mean i can't say for sure but i think the girls are feeling good about the new look.

i've read a few threads that talked about plants going into cellular preservation mode if manipulated a little too much at the wrong time (hermie or go back to veg. mode). of course i read them after doing giving them a shave and a haircut/shower routine! i haven't seen any trauma to the girls yet, but i'll be watching closely.

not the best angle after Alice's treatment, but it's a stellar day here in the mountains...she's still pretty hairy in the middle as you can see from the photo. i could probably clean her up a bit more to let that gorgeous sun reach down ito the middle of the plant, but there's still some competing for the open space going on with the branches. those that can't reach the canopy may not go the distance on the journey...

wonderful Bertha she doesn't fit into the shot

speaking of outdoor challenges (@GHempster), check out this trichome growth but nevermind the spider web...nothing to worry about eh?
20190904_073937.jpg

so i might have a confession to make at this point ? not sure?...the photos below are of the same plant (Alice), whom i thought was a sativa (Jack Herer fem), but looking at her development and colour, she seems more indica than anything, so she could actually be the hash plant i thought Athena was growing into...

looking like a real beauty of a plant
20190904_074106.jpg

who knows, she could be an indica dominant dna possibility from the jack herer family? that's the beauty of the plant...here's another

probably not relevant, but i did partake in some of the below black kush sprinkled GeNeRoUsLy with some genuine BlAcK hAsH...great cerebral floating roast, late evening flight. i've been lucky to have you guys along for the ride, i hope you've enjoyed the show so far. i'm excited about the plants. they are developing nicely and i've got to get a handle on the bugs in the garden because the plants are quite healthy...i've been enjoying @GHempster as he is in #fullharvestmode and all you other growers...this healing energy from this plant is unbelievable

Hey Lion! Nice work in the garden, they’re all looking great :high-five: :meatballs:

Loving those beautiful girls.

And the pics are out of this world. Hope you submit to pic of month.

:yummy::popcorn:

Excitement is building here. Cannot wait to see them mature. I bet they are smelling strong with those deers eating away.

Awesome work on them and your grow space :thumb:

nothing too much to report...still haven't figured out a way to make time pass faster. been pouring rain here in the interior of BC for the last 2 days. i let the ladies dry out to the point of wilting on saturday and gave them 2 litres on saturday night to moisten them up for a feed on sunday morning. timing was great...they got the feed and then some rain. been getting cooler at night, looks like rain for the next few days...still banking on some nice fall weather to finish these ladies off. they are going to need some help from mother nature to go the distance

Bertha is coming along nicely. hard to say for sure when "flowering" began in earnest, but i'm going with 3 weeks ago based on this here journal...

Sindy made a big stretch but i think repotting at the 11th hour may have set her back based on where she's at...

thanks for checking in ya'll

Mine too!

hey Billotto, thanks for stopping by. very similar stages of development...do you recall when your ladies (very healthy looking btw) began flowering?

Hey Roar - are you able to get them under cover from the weather or are they totally exposed??

what's up greenjeans? hope you've been staying cool brother...i will put the poly over the structure this weekend. i thought i had enough left on the roll in my crawlspace, but don't have enough to do the deed. getting them all covered up will be timely. rain doesn't look like it will end very soon. thanks for stopping by my friend...
