Quick update.

Got a new inline fan. Got the ducting, fan, and filter all rigged up and working.

Both seeds broke ground today. Four days from going into water. And both seeds came up wearing helmets...

I was able to remove the Cheese's helmet quiet easily with no damage at all.

The cement shoes was a little different story. She is still wearing a half of her shell lol. Came up with the full shell, one half came off easily. The other seems to like where its at...I'm going to give it another day, and try again tomorrow.

Lowered the light down to right about 38" above the girls and have it at half power, just pulling 100w from the wall.

Question-how long should I continue using the cheap-o humidity domes? When should I ditch them?

Sorry to resurrect this thread but...

Is there any harm in breaking up all the roots from harvested plants and putting them back in with the rest of my soil, kinda like a compost?

I take all my roots and add them to the salve bin, along with the rest of the plant that isn't buds!

Shoot, no apologies needed @InTheShed , in fact thank you! Lol gonna read about your salves today. Im always looking for new info. And the wife uses store bought cbd creams and oils for pain. Been interested in making my own, just haven't had the time lately. I've been busier that a dog with two peckers! XD

The salve is great for bug bites, stings, hives, scratches, and burns. Any manner of skin issues and it uses up the entire rest of the plant. For pain it's best to go with high THC (all buds) in an oil that is readily absorbed like grapeseed or pumpkin seed. I aim for 15mg/ml for topical pain oil strength.

I'm going to have to get some cbd strains going, she doesn't like to smoke, or enjoy the high, she is purely interested in the pain relief qualities. She also does break out in hives/rashes pretty easy as she has extremely sensitive skin.

Once you make salve for her she will change from purely to dually! I've got boxes and boxes of dried stems, fans, and roots ready for my next round. Folks here love it for mosquito bites alone.

I don't have the stems and roots at this point but I have a bunch of fan leaves and some larfy stuff. Been saving them for just this, just haven't made it around to it yet unfortunately.
