im thinkin it might be just light bleach, cuz it sort of looks more like the calyx turned yellowand are pre pre mature calyx. but nyway i think they did get bleached and ahve not grown properly so staying small and yellow, i dont know just a thought. light was actually at 8 in from light, it grew a lil. i thought it would have stopped so i have moved it up to 10 1/2inch from light and ill keep an eye.

good news tho! this this time with my last grow i was noticing pm on my ladies.
this time i have seen NOTHIN so far, lookin great and hopfuly i will finish this one :)

thanks again mate. my previous grow, ahhh, yes very upsetting, but i experience the mold, it wasnt fun but i did and i learned from it. hopefully enough to never get it again, lol. but u have to go thru stuff to learn, im just not lookin forward to experiencing the spider mites :thedoubletake: cuz i know at some point i will.

everyting ias goin great so far, besides tjhis yellow ball thing/light burn, oh and also it is getting pretty chilly, last night when the lights were off the temp went down to 57 degrees and getting up to 81 during the day, so during the day i need to lower my heater becasue now of new light i dont need the heat as much but at night i am gonna have to turn up my heat. i would like my heat at around 65 at night.

57 degrees is too cold right? will it harm my plants eventually if it kept goin like this?

Hey staffy nice journal and nice plants and great pics!

Is the MF plant still just oc+ or are you giving her anything else?

I think you're right about the temps, you probably won't kill them but that's pretty cool for night time. The OC+ won't release many nutes at that temp either.

I think in general being so cool would slow down the plant's metabolism which you don't want.

MF is still just OC+, only givin her PH water, seems to be doin good, just some curled leaves, i probably should try and add something to fix it but, i think ill just leave it.

OC+ is temp sensitive, too hot and it releases too fast. 80 degrees seems to be the sweet spot.

PS depending on your soil you might want to supplement the OC+ with some micronutes, esp cal-mag. Not sure what would cause the leafs to curl though. If you can get something like Ironite Mineral Supplement (has everything but the Magnesium) and epsom salt for the mg, and lightly top dress the soil where you water. Good luck!

the hairs on both plants are now starting to change color, both from the tips and the bottom nearest to the bud. :)

ive been thinkin about this yellowness on top of one of my buds. well a few days when i noticed, i took my scissors and just sort of plucked it and played with it to see if i can get a better look and i cant really say it was a ball. im wondering if i could be a lil cluster of hairs that had started to turn color first a yellow then going orange, which then gave off of what looked like a yellow ball?????????
any thoughts?

finally got my heating under control
during day 77-79 degrees
at night 68 degrees
