Great...keep me informed..how you do it and the results...mini update..the sun messes up photos..really bright...this is featuring my pineapple express..she is still sprouting seeds that fell into the pot when she re-vegged...

plants gain 3 inches every night..going to have to extend fence height or find some really tall plants to go around the perimeter...
 
them plants are getting big mate, last season did you grow out doors also, if so when did they finish flowering by, have you ever thought about getting a plant to flower in the middle of summer instead of waiting till the natural light is right for flower, i have been reading that if you grow a plant in a pot out doors but move it in to force it to flower, this then produces bigger buds as the sun is at its strongest in the middle of summer, when i read this i thought about the blue and red light needed to flower, so if the red light was needed to flower then that would mean plants flowered in the middle of summer would not do as well, but clearly they do, have you ever tried this mate and had them flower early by taking the plants in for the dark period

Sorry about the male. I got 3 out of 4 males with the P-91 I'm growing. Damn plant never wanted to show any preflowers of any form. I did get 2 clones off her before she started to flower. Looks good my friend

Yep ...grew all bagseed last summer..i had to pull early because of the rain..and me not wanting to get bud rot...this year i got a shelter...i pulled at the end of oct...trics was clear and cloudy...if you vegged outside and brought it in early to make it flower..would'nt be right..by bringing it in you are cutting short the veg time...longer vege=larger yield...plus in ground growing is better than pots..if i had the room my pots would be in the ground...and then you could use mg nutes...:biglaugh:..anyway...outside light is free...

oh yeah;;he's history..them clones are in hibernation...in a sealed mason jar...just ph ro water...something me and DP got going...the plan is to take the one without roots and see if it will root...the one with roots..we going to see if it will survive in a dwc...deep freeze is next...this isn't a grow journal...its a learning experince ...i took a plant that hermied..re-veged her..she's still growing...gonna see if she hermies again..if she doesn't..i'll get what she would have yielded before she reveg..and probably double the yield now..what i'm saying is...a reveg is bigger the 2nd time around...i might start growing all reveg plants...it just takes more time but the yield makes up for it..you won't run out between grows either..stay focus
 
Ok hey Miwa, I've done done that reveg after time before and it's more the rule that exception to be able to regain a female for cloning seeds of just regrow. Truth they have such a great root structure given it's been kept with alittle elbow room, that it can feed as many buds as it can ever produce. Alot of seed breeders have these hybreds that are expected to have % of hermies involed. I 'think' being that in some strains, they 'might' increased that % with any stress. I know they have a harder time dealing with the molds if they run rampet in your neck of the woods. But I do understand what you got going. Another angle could be, it hermied once, hell it might just do that again. I figgured what ya was doing but me,,, you got to understand, I really don't read alot, alot. Oh scroll and look at pic's.
I wanta see what happens with them there clones. Might prove handy sometime. If it works a month, who knows, 6 months. Someone could do something with that. I always wanted to do a tissiue culture thing. Not that I'd really have any use for it, it wood just be cool. I hear it's a pain to do and takes awhile to even get anything at even looks like a plant.

JH #2 has a full screen and still putting budsites in the holes...#1 is almost full..i didn't plan for this..so the plants aren't centered on the nets..but thats ok...they'll grow...

next week this garden will be in full bloom..today all the girls got their 1st bloom feed...the pots got ff tiger bloom and big bloom...girls in the ground got mg bloom booster...all girls got extra p...aka bone meal...i got rooted clones of all my girls..i should open my grow room..they are going to be big yielders..put them on 24/0 until they start vegging...then 18/6 for 3 months..then 10/14..we'll see...stay focus...

Good to see them coming along well buddy! I wish i was able to grow some massive plants outside, my neighbours would bring me undone, either way id lose my weed! HELL NO!!

Yep...must be careful..i have been thinking about this critical mass..and it being so easy to get bud rot because of the massive colas..well..a cola is nothing but a lot of flowers emerged together..what if you could keep the cola horizontal so the flowers couldn't emerge together but grow separate..or would that cause so much stress that the plant would hermmie...and by making the flowers grow separate..would that increase the yield of the top cola ??? well you know me..when i hear "what if "...it a Q i just got to know the answer to..so i will try it..i started to on my inside grow but started to run out of room..this is a pic of the top cola when i stop the lst...

as you can see all the flowers in the cola started growing vertical..it looks like they were going to be a bunch of small colas...but they don't have to be big...just potent...right ???...stay focus...:thumb:
 
mate you really have got some amazing plants, i take it the clones are still looking good then mate, our experiment is going well by the looks of it, ive nearly got enough roots on 2 of my clones to give it a try, with my next round of plants that i have got in veg now, as soon as these go under the hps and get a bit bigger ill be taking several clones, i want 3 with roots and 3 without, these 6 will then go in the fridge and ill take 1 of each out every 4 weeks and see how far they can go in the fridge, so ill have 3 months worth of clones, if they can last that long then i think thats plenty long enough to keep clones viable,
i hear you mention deep freeze, ive not come across that method yet, but it might work if you defrosted them very slowly, like take them out the freezer and place them in the fridge in water, i dont think freezing them in water would work as it would probably crush them as the water freezes, but freezing them in a bag might just work, very interesting mate, i have read they can bring humans back to life if they have frozen and thawed slowly so it is possible it could work with plants.
plus some autos grow in snowy and frozen conditions in russia, the seeds fall on the floor and are frozen for several months before defrosting then germinating, so if a seed can survive them conditions and still grow then it might just work,
 
I hear ya about them cola's. And I really think you increase your yield by tieing them over, supper cropping, scroging however you get that cola bent over. It lets 10X the amount of intensity shine thru to the secondary buds. I like to tie the top lower than the highest point of the bend. Then the secondary buds get their share of that hormone 'I think it's something like 'austins; or something', and they grow like the terminal top. I've seen some pretty ass buds growing sideways. I hope you did a good spray of neem or something before they start budding to much. I spray mine up till 3 weeks in. Them your kind of at the mercy of the Pot Gods to fight off any bud rot. You just have to keep the air moving and rain off them late in flower. GL I know I'm going to have the same worries witha NLxBB I have out there. She's got the makings of some real donkey dicks for sure.
Love that pic of the fence line with your Scrog of the JH's. They sure look happy. Make sure to yell at me when you do something with them clones. I'll probably see it but make sure I don't miss it. You know I've been think about producing some fem seeds myself. Guess it's been awhile since I yelled at Granny 420 and see if they all worked out. I seen ya ask about seeds. My mentor always told me that seeds with them tiger stripes are usually indica and solid colored lean on the sativa side. I don't know how many hours I use to have to cull 'bag seed', seeds to find some good looking tiger stripers.

Hi mate, just reading ur post.. GOOD STUFF:) Good to see someone else with the similar thoughts on these seeds, as i said to Miwa while ago, ive only ever sprouted 1 male from 16yrs of growing! Not thousand of plants, but ive always selected certain seeds, for certain characteristics, and so far ive been lucky.
I have a current LSt going atm,C99xPR- my first, she;s 1.5 months old, 2ft tall, im trying to veg her til about 3.5ft,then flip her, she has 12 main branches and tonnes of shoots to contain and shape. Im hoping to gain on my last single plant grow of 8 oz.. Hope she will get there!!

Yep;;;i got a rain shelter and one of those industrial fans...thos tiger striped seeds came from last year...bagseed...and they were indica..couldn/t get off the couch...i took my clones out of the cloner and put them in pots...all but 1 a purple haze...shes putting out flowers...so i potted her and put her out side...so now you know a rooted clone will flower in a cloner...the rest of my clones are outside in the day and inside at night under cfls...all these clones are off re-vegged plants..i want to see how they produce inside..when they start vegging i'll put them under a mh..i don't have a timetable because i don't know how long they will be re-vegging...got to go through that 1 leaf..2 leaf thing...i think outside it took 2+ months...but i got a million bud sites...and they are not going to be small...yeah Smoke...last summer i had side shoots that were 2nd and 3rd nodes on the plant that was even with the top...thats a lot of stretching...from ground level to the top...7 ft plants...my big pur haze in the pot has some more sprouts coming up in her pot...now i have my plants on heavy feeding..and these seeds are coming up...so these sprouts are surviving on full nutes+...what happen to 1/4 nutes for sprouts ???..all my plants are really stretching..and JH #1...the one that hermied..she has huge flowers forming...Bigger than her sister JH #2...man i hope she don't hermie again..shes going to be a 2 lb woman...stay focus...got to go check the clone girls...:thumb:
