this is my 1st time using it..FF and BPN may be the best combo..although i' hearing a lot of talk about coco..just got a newsletter e-mail..they were talking about coco..well we will see..i did all my potting this morn with coco..and started another DWC with a P..Haze..next i.m going to try a flood and drain...one of these water technics i can do..just got to find the right one..
 
In my opinion coco is better than any soil. You see my grows, there in 100% coco under a 400w. And im getting results like im using a 600w. You just have to prepare your coco before using it just like you would with soil. Calcium is the only thing you would have to worry about. But thats easy if your using bonemeal. Plus you can save money on RO water because you can use tap water with no issues. Coco is 50/50 its like growing in soil but get hydro results.

you mean all i have to do to the water is let the chlo evap and ph it...what about the ppms >>
 
Yup. I never checked ppm with tap water. I never even PH'd it. My tap water is either 7 or 7.5 but after I let it sit out and add nutes etc. Its levels it self around 6.5-7.0. I dont think PPM is even nesseccery to check. PPM in a quart of water wont be the same as a gallon etc. You will only use a gallon if your feeding a plant thats been vegging for about 3-4 months. And by that time that plant can take up to 1000-1500 PPM. And f you have multiple plants thats 4 weeks or younger that PPM will be split up just as the nutrients would be. Its pretty much division when feeding more than 1 plant.

Thats why I never bought a PH pen or a PPM meter. I still use the drops and I had them along with the GH PH UP&DOWN for ever now. I dont even use them any more. No deficiencies. And I add alot of stuff when I feed. b-1, voodoo juice, bud candy, BPN nutes, bpn sea weed, rhino skin, molasses, SNS 604 A/B.
 
The FFOF and BPN does do wonders. So easy to use. Nothing against Coco. I tried and hated it but I'm one person. Its just nice to buy my soil in a bag put it in a pot and follow the BPN application guide.
 
well..my 4 teens..i got 2 in coco and 2 in H frog..which do u think is the best..tap or rain water...probably tap...rain water can be polutted...i took girls off LST..they will go back on tomorrow night..numbers increasing..got 3 sprouts and 2 beans in water with tails..gonna put them in jiffy pellets for 2 more DWC...
 
I would use tap water in coco but I would stick with RO water for soul. Soul from what ive been threw likes to leach. But I know others used tap water in soil. Just let it sit for 2-4 days. What I usaully do is make out 8x 500ml, 1x gallon jug, & 1x 2L bottles of tap water and I routate. So each bottle sits out for a week tops. Each bottle is for each stage of plant life and how much I would use. So I just pick up the right size I need and just add nutes.
 
PPM and shit is for those chem hydro guys, and even then not really needed.

Guesstamation is a true scientific process and I stick by it 100%

Well Jimmy I too felt your misery.. But the great ganja gods that be, sent GG7 and Corey from BPN along and now Im hooked up! BPN sent to me, so you should be able to arrange something?? I do believe that my plant is growing faster and is healthy looking, So come flower, the answers will be filled.
Im keen to use this Bloom Booster and such, If I notice a difference in any field, Ill note it.. And I GUESS-TIMATED WITH KIKSUM @ 8oz and she doubled that - So dont be so blaz'e about guesstimates:) They may be proven wrong.... Slightly?? lol..
