2046 : Chimp vs. Sativa

Well it looked a little normal in unit 3 after I took the 2 G13s that weren't doing well out and gave them the ol' chop, so I put the GSC and Chemdawg D BX 3 clone in. They're trimmed out and should grow straight up, so crowding shouldn't happen. They're also well into flower, done with stretch, and in the safe zone of this unit so this should be the best outcome I've had in some time. :) I'll post pics in a few.

Yeah I know the feeling the only spirits around here are the cheap 100 proof ones I bought to soak these bum G13 plants in and make me a tincture. I need to look up how to cook off the booze some, 'cause this stuff isn't frosty and a bit premature so it's gonna be weak. I've never tried tinctures before either, so I'll have to look up how small of a shotglass you use to get high on it. :)

Oh one of those boringly endless OTHs has buds that are starting to look like a Haze; I'll get pics up soon. The other is just starting to fill the buds just a bit..... :(
 
My life now is okay, but I don't know if I can contribute this to the fact that I didn't stop moving to different places until I got here. Maybe my life would have turned out better if I would have stayed in one of the places I was at. It sucks being new to everything and starting over, but sometimes it turns out for the better. Wish I had something more reassuring to say about it, but as the venerable Master Po Ten See once taught me at the Shaolin Temple of the Almighty Ball Hashish, "You see ChimpHopper, life sometimes an uphill swim in eternal stream of Baby Ruths, so keep arms swimming and most importantly mouth shut!"

Just a day past 16 weeks from the first hairs, and anytime from the next few to 8 more weeks left. There are buds on the left plant I'm going to cut out and dry before the rest of the plant is done. I gave them both a dose of GWS and molasses along with their CaMg+ a few days ago. I think I may be heading towards rootbound soon, but we'll see if they hold out. It doesn't look like it, but I learned a lot here. I'll post a summary when it's all said and done.

Notes: This OTH grow is the whole of Unit 3.
Unit 1 - 0/24 : Using as a dark room for Unit 5 (for flowering out 1 Blue Cheese and 2 Ice clones).
Unit 2 - 12/12 : 2 small GSC clones I'm trying to keep stressed (ready for chop this week), 4 Chemdawg D BX 3-1 mother rejects, 1 Blue Cheese clone.
Unit 4 - 12/12 : 3 G13 plants, 1 Chemdawg D BX 3 clone, 1 GSC clone, 1 Chemdawg D BX 3-1 mother.
Unit 5 - 18/6 : 1 Free Tibet reveg, 1 GDP reveg, 1 struggling SLH reveg, 2 Blue Cheese clones, 2 GDP clones (taken today; 1 in rockwool and 1 in soil), and a 6 seedling start of new grow.

The effect of waiting is more than massive. As far as buzz effect goes, I'm still waiting to run up on a strain with a little hair on its a$$. Every time I start a grow I've learned to put my fists on my hips and do my best Clint Eastwood from "Heartbreak Ridge" impersonation:

"I'm looking for a few good ladies and YOU AIN'T THEM!!!!!"
