2046 : Chimp vs. Sativa

I think mine's from Sativa Seeds or something like that.....

Yes , that! Sativa Seedbank! Nirvana Seeds and Sativa Seedbank is from the same guys :) both have the same breeder but by the name you can figure it out, the Nirvana Seeds are Hybrids, Sativas, Indicas, the Sativa Seedbank is just Sativas. Its a little work out of the Nirvana Seeds i suppose :)

Haze? To me, kind of peppery; spicey. Not any particular spices (a chef could probably nail down the spice smells), but just the smell of spices in general, and maybe if you've ever smelled aromatic woods (sandalwood for one), that smell is there too.

The Skunk Nº1 more of an Indica dominant i have curing for 1 month and 1 week now, smells very woody and skunky :) hehe

And does it smell strong? the haze smell in flowering...

My guess is that there are some kind of laws in their country concerning taxes on how much you can make at an individual business and as soon as they get near that higher tax bracket they start another company..... ;)

I'm gonna buy me some Alaskan Forest Humus (General Organics) then order some lava sand, 97% calcium carbonate powder, glacial rock dust, and dry molasses for this Kush grow; I have the rest of the stuff here for a highly mineralized soil mix. Instead of following the rest of the Hi-Brix method (mostly 'cause I don't know it) I'll use the AN Iguana nutes and not make compost teas (at least for now).

And I'll start the seedlings out in Roots Organics soil.

I will sub, nice choices , no doubt! :)

Im so anxious to try one Haze, Mr.Fish or Mr.Chimp , Haze is really like that fresh hazy taste & smell? how can you guys describe it? i read a lot about strains , never tried a Kush but i certainly can imagine that lemony , pinesol type of smell, my pheno of Dieseltonic is like that, more for the kushy side (Cannatonic pheno ,Mk Ultra x Og Kush) ,not even one diesel characteristic... i mean i never tried a strain with kush on the name...just genetics with some 25% kush or something like that.
Diesel was one i could not imagine a diesel / fuel type of taste and smell, i had the Black Diesel, Huuuuu didnt liked it that much, the smell is really like fuel and the taste is very BLHAAAAC.
I think haze is the only in this moment i cant imagine a smell relative to it.

Years ago I ran a fairly large indoor grow of Columbians, and when you'd work with them, you wore that smell around awhile - got deep into your nostrils - *grunt* I miss that. Anyway, I chopped my Silver Lemon Haze today, and the memories came rushing back. It's that same aroma - light, lemony gasoline sort of ester, like a thin solvent. It kind of surprised me, because I never thought of the Columbians as lemony. I'd recommend the SLH if you want to try a Haze. It's really well behaved, and in every review and journal I've read, they've liked it.

Chimp, do you have the soft rock phosphate? If so, you can easily put together a 6-5-3. The glacial dust will substitute for the azomite.

I was impressed with what it did for my OC+ run. I don' think a guy can go wrong, as long as you get the mineral ratios right.

Yeah, I've got Dr. Earth's soft rock phosphate here. I've got part of a recipe from online for a soil mix (a guy named Icemud that posts here at 420 MAG uses it), but I'm missing a few of the amounts. The glacial dust is one of the amounts; epsom salts and lava sand are the other ones I need to look into.

Skunk Nº1 does have Columbian on the genetics... it gives the strain that acidic smell, the Thai the more woody smell and the Afghani that strong scent... this are all the genetics from Skunk Nº1 (Sensi Seeds) , its a basic strain i know all the phenos, running 4 this time, i really like it :) i will search for more genetics with Columbian :)

Ahh, a Skunk#1 afficianado! How do you think my Kerala x Skunk#1 will turn out? I'm not expecting much. I don't think it's an especially remarkable cross - not from watching it grow so far - but it has a lot of sativa genetics, and I wonder what the Indian Kerala will bring to the Skunk#1. At this point I'm just hoping it will eventually fatten and grow some trichs. If so, it'll be a good yielder at least - would make some good hash, I bet.

My clones:

The SLH in the middle might not pull out, but I've had a long run with it and my Ice plant has all the same qualities a bit more. I need to make room for the grow I'm starting anyway.

Note: 5 of 6 seeds are open out of my starting grow (one of the Master Kush seeds is still closed). The Tora Bora has a 1/2 mm tail and 3 others are showing white in the crack. They should all be open by tonight; maybe tomorrow.

:peace:

Hey hey hey PotChimp say:
You jinxed me my Dutch Passion Blueberry plant hermied! JK (about the jinx, anyway) :)

Dried and in the hash bag it goes DJ Shorts Blueberry is getting a second shot later.....

Oh , sh?t... :(
It was better to you trying Bluehell but if you can get a female from DJ Shorts Blueberry regulars it would be nice!

never tried the Kerala... but the Skunk Nº1 already had the Sativa Pheno and the Indica Pheno so this time i already have 4 seedlings of Skunk Nº1 just so you can see i liked it,its a classic strain with good yield and normal smell and taste... The Sativa Pheno is very paranoid and racy, puts your mind very edgy... and the Indica Pheno is very couchlock and happy feeling, the two of them smell & taste like the same, woody and skunky / acidic, the Sativa smells less.
