2020 Outdoor Organic Grow Central Canada

Day 10

Girls are still going, they enjoyed their brief time in the sun today, before the clouds rolled in. Still to cold outside for sunbathing

Just quick update, tonight.

I will start my attempt at :reading420magazine: DIY CalMagPhos+ From Eggshells on the weekend and will post some shots of the process.

:peace::ganjamon::yummy:

I also got "Emmie's DIY CalMagPhos+ From Eggshells " done and it is on ferment stage, I need to double check but in 20 days or so I will have some CalMag that cost pennies to make.

The ladies final homes are coming along. I am hoping to upgrade to 60 gallon pots all around. I can grow 6 at on time for medical and 4 at time for personal/recreational. I will start with half of them at 60, and see how the 30 gallons goes for autos. Adjust as need next year. I don't think autos will use the whole thirty gallons. But time will tell.

The weather is really suppose to take a turn for the better finally, so hopeful sunbathing shots

Stay safe.

I emptied and re-layered all the soil in the pots, soaked and covered until May 2-4 weekend or so.
Added
Mushroom compost
Organic compost (two years old)
Organic Soil that I picked up.
Canadian Sphagnum Peat top 1/3 or so
Pearlite Im up to 100 liters of the shit, and should have more. I need a cheaper alternative.

Nice article, Thanks.
Now if we look at that article and think about global warming it's easy enough to see how hemp can change our world for the better. If we were to make all of those things from hemp we would have to produce a lot more hemp.

I just googled hemp as a carbon scrub...."hemp scrubs the air 4 times faster than any forest, 2 crops per year".... and more and more and more it just goes on & on. Hemp can help save us all, we need to act before that can happen though.
When will we learn?

Great work Kodiak! Good to see such great preparation. :thumb:

It is becoming a new obsession, I mean cannabis is great and has been long time obsession. But only visiting crops once a month hundreds of KM's from your home and 50 km's off any paved road. It is hard to form a bond with your plants and their soil. And not having the time because there is 5 sites hundreds of KM's apart.

But now a days totally different scenario, and lets face it Covid-19 has helped to form this new soil bond .

Wow, that's impressive dedication, truly amazing! The preparation you're putting in with the big 60 gallon pots is just excellent. Yes the Covid-19 issue puts a spanner in the works of many plans, I hope to hell that it will settle down and folk can get back to normality soon but that could be wishful thinking. All the best! :hookah:

Do your seedlings produce dank kush aromas, or aromas related to your strains, at 20 some odd days old?

Let me tell you these little ladies are already producing beautiful kushy aromas that fill the room.
Cant wait until they really kick in and smell engulfs the neighbourhood.
