I have two one gallons humidifiers running in my basement 24/7 right now. Raises the basement humidity from
35 to 37 or 39%. They don't make much difference. I would spend money on a Mars 2 400 over a humidifier....

No, nothing like that. It makes very little difference. Defoliating just slows down growth a little, that's all. No benefit, just unnecessary effort to cut off the leaves and it slows growth.

Looks good except the defoliation, I don't believe that is a good idea.
For the blanket fort, make sure your light does not leak into the bloom area once you switch to bloom.

my 2 gal brings my humidity from 35 up to 88 in my 2x4x7.5 foot closet

Ah ok you are not exchanging air then. I can't humidify my cabinets as the air is exchanged constantly from the exhaust fan on each

is that a bad thing have a small opening for fresh air when lights are on and have osilating fan going

Should be ok as long as temps don't get high, same with humidity, 80s is pretty high don't want mold

That Mars could get you 100g per grow easy.

Offer to sell the other fluroescents to a friend with a free clone to get him started. Use money to get second $70 Mars ;-)

how much heat does a led put out? right now with my t5 and cfl's i average 80-85 with no exhaust

I believe less than cfl of equivalent wattage. Led does not get hot

ok I have figured out my budget for next month and i am gonna order 2 items from ebay

if I order them next Tues I will have them by the following Tues. Ty OG for pushing me to make that switch to led. Now am thinking about a 3x3 tent for the corner of my room. Also picking up root hormone. Saw the possibility of 100gram harvest and said to myself self it is worth the cost you spend that much per grow in light bulds. Almost bought 2 but not this month. Gonna repurpose the t5 into my crazy contraption i built for clones and maybe in April I can get another led if i can find it a cheap price like this one was.am shutting down the humidifier tonight when lights go out and gonna see what the rh is in 24 hrs. . I also repurposed a heating pad to be under my cloning tray I un it on med for 4-5 hrs then i shut it down for the rest of the day looking good under the dome. In 15 hrs everyone will get a 1 gal watering. May even break dow and buy some trays for under my 5 gal buckets been just using towels to catch drainage then take out wet towels when done draining/

Sounds good man! I have like $1800 in my setup but it's worth it putting out about a pound per grow every ten weeks. You are investing in your future product

odor control isn't very important since all roommates smoke but have a back up plan if I have to worry my bedroom is on the 2nd floor so i can always vent out my window if I have to

TODAY'S UPDATE

Everyone got their one gal fresh water drink. Humidifier has been off since 11 pm last night and the curtain has been open for about an hr now and humidity is down to 52 from 82. the heating pad under the clone dome is working the way I was hoping looks real moist in there. Now that I decided to go with the mars hydro 300 I am like a kid waiting for xmas so I can order it. Noobie ? can you veg under 24/7 lighting am thinking of moving the blue fire into clone/veg area when I put the t5 in there ( or maybe another mars ??? we can only dream) ? Ok now for the stars of the show
