I will also have smaller CFLs for side lighting, I plan on just topping her when I can use the top for a clone so I can tell if its a female or not. Am I on the right path? Anyone with some info on topping height for a clone?
I have always cloned from the lower branches but as far as when to top or to FIM I would suggest when you are at 4 to 5 nodes. Height is not really what you want to top them by since some strains are leggier then others. I would suggest you go by number of nodes as a better way to determine when is appropriate to either top or FIM them.
Anyone know why the one finger leaves are yellow?
I would not be concerned with the one finger leaves, though if it migrates to the multiple fingered leaves then yes you need to address that.
I put root growth hormone on chem 2 roots a couple days ago and oh damn shes reaching for the sky!
Here's the group minus 2
Should I top or fim???
My personal preference is FIMng but topping works too
yes, sometimes people are just looking to see if they can learn something from you, while others may be reading to see if your doing something that could mess things up, apparently up to this point your doing fine.
Is anyone following this?
I just found your journal today, and while I doubt I will be by every day to check it out, I will try and get over every now and then to check in on how things are going, like strains, there are so many and so little time.

Feel free to ask whatever questions you like and I'll do my best to answer when finding the time.
And what Mr Am4zin said, temps. are way to hi and should be no more than 85 degrees otherwise your plants will suffer from heat stress.
Best of luck mate!
While I totally agree that you should never let your grow area get above 85 degrees unless you are adding supplemental CO2 it is also safe to say that it is not the end of the world if every once in a while your temps shoot up above that, like during a heat wave or something to that effect. A day or two here and there above 85 is not the end of the world especially in Veg, now come flower it becomes a bit more concerning.
I tend to look at growing like I look at my work, I shoot for perfection but some days I am not able to achieve it, for the most part it is not the end of the world, just strive for the best conditions you can. It is when it becomes habitual that it becomes a problem.
