1st Time Growing Weed

First thing u do when u get some cash is get a light that will make it worth your time to grow and not be disappointed with progress after its over. Those cfl lights aren't made for growing weed . People just use them . If u want cola buds that are bigger than a dime invest in a hps light . My opinion . I'm doing my first grow myself right now. Indoors anyway. I'm an avid outdoor man. But honestly lose those junk ass lights and upgrade. Less u want 7 grams off that plant . Not being rude in any way either. I hate to see people waste their time with those junk ass lights then hear them after its over .

Sup man!! Well i know that because i have a friend who grows weed and uses the same lamps you speak of... but let pit it this way, i ve never grow weed in my life, i got fired from my job 1 month ago.. what i am doing its experimenting of course im not actually hoping to get more than 7 grams of weed from this plant since seeds where gave to me and all.. these lights i actually had them before so no money wasted. I have these 2 cfl cool loght and i have 6 cfl warm light to use in flowering. Man im just gonna try it and see.. and i am actually happy with the experience, because i think i have to fell these problems in order to get trought them in another growth...or maybe dont even let them happen. :) i see what you mean but dont worry aboit my time or my money.. because im not wasting any of them hehe also ii had a fan already and this reptilian aquarium where i grow it. In 1 year im moving to my own house so then i will do it the correct way with correct lights and a correct tent. Cheeeeeeerzzzzz

Well ty that's my own style I came up with over twenty years ago. I've grown that way ever since. I'm not even close to knowing everything about indoors . Actually I'm a total noob inside but my technique for outside is working well so far. U will need a ph meter and ph up and down for your grow. That's the bare minimum your gonna need. And a cheap bottle of notes. I'm using general hydroponics 10 a bottle and they love it

By notes u mean nuts? I have to see if i have any local store with some kind of them if not i will have to order online. I like that style looks great and full of it hahah cant do outdoor in my country, illegal

Yep it is, srill i have my degree but even that is not enought today. Been working since 17 im 22 and is hard to lose a job when youare already depending on it but anyways, thinhs will get better and i will grow it real ;)

It's illegal here too lol. That plant is only two foot tall lol. I grow so it's almost impossible to see without heat technology. I had to adapt to grow here. And Yea nutes lol.

I have a country house where i could grow 100 plant outdoor no one lives around for miles!!! Only old people but to bad i cant go there now, far from my hometown and hard to libe there since there's no jobs near country side. But you keep that! Im checking your stuff

Hey Alien, glad you have a degree to fall back on. Growing in soil will get you through easier than clay or perlite because they have no nutrients (nutes) except what we add. Make lots of mistakes the first time so the second time is better. Adding a bit of fresh soil to your pot as it goes down would give the girls more nutes.

Sure Ali, As you water from the top it carries soil and nutes down into the root ball. Also if you are composting you can amend your soil with compost but make sure it is well rotted so it does not pull nutes out of your soil.

^ this. what hatway said. Uncomposted stuff will pull goodness out.


I went away from soil and potting mix due to too many variables. The slow
release fertilisers in there and microbes can be problematic. Especially
inside. Some people can make soil work, i found i couldnt do it without problems.

You can get coco for cheap and use coco ferts which are cheap.
With a 250 or even a 150w hps. People told me to upsize when i started
and they where right. I was actually wasting power using smaller lights
with little results.

At least your having a go mate. Sucks about your job, i had to resign las tyear with
a back injury. not much fun.
