1st Time Grow With DWC Top Feed Burmese Kush

Looking really good man! Cracks here broken this dropping that XD

I'll say it again were so similar XD

Looking awesome man, your plants continue to blow me away. You were talking about defol and mentioned bananas, just glad you went bananas not found them lol

Can't wait to see the flower show man! Nice job .

Thanks Big I'm just tucking them as the pop up above the screen.
I'm about as graceful as an elephant dancing ballet, :) and I f'n hate bananas in all forms so they can just stay away. I have my tent wrapped in a "canuck special" blue tarp on a corded pulley system to prevent any light leaks. I sent off the tent cam so hopefully it will be back here and in the tent by Monday or Tuesday. Time for some bongs and a nap before work.

Day 4 since flip:

They were rocking today when I opened the tent at lights on, took me 30-40 mins to get them all tucked in for the day,

With the colder weather it got down to 68.5f during lights off and up to 77f max with lights on. I lowered the lights to the recommended 24" above the canopy today so lefts see how they react. They have drank a bunch but since I didn't have time to do a top up I just left them be for the night. The screen is 75% full now up from 50% when I flipped Saturday. The lower sites are all making they're way up through the screen which is pretty frighten cool. I'm not positive but I think I'm seeing the sex show up on a couple new sites

There's a few other I have my eye on as well to add in there so she's not all by herself. Anyhow it's time for work but I just wanted to throw up an update and say hello:thumb:

Looking good! It's kind of funny, I started a DWC scrog at just about the same time as you. I have two questions. How did you determine to remove the restraints on the plants? About how many inches above is your scrog net from the reservoir top?

Again looking great, cheers :bravo:

Hey there Doit thanks for stopping by:welcome:

My scrog is 8" above the res and can extend to 25" above if I were to need it. I did the lst to bush then out as best I could til they were just able to reach up to the bottom of the scrog then I untied them. I just wanted an even canopy going into as it's my frost shot at it and everything I read said it was about a flat even canopy. So far I'd say it's fairly even, but ya I have 6 in my system as I had a completely successful germination and didn't have it in me to cull any, but if I only had 4 plants I probably would have waiters another 5-6 days to fill it out more. As it stands now it's filling up 5-10% daily so I might have to cull one yet.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Did you make your scrog out of cat 5 ethernet cabling?

It's lamp wire that was on clearance for .08$ a foot lololol. I just didn't think using string sounded appealing pulling hair out of the buds and I couldn't get my hands on speaker wire as cheap so I made do. That's 100' of wire and I still ran out just at the end and supplemented with plant ties  .

Looking great OG! They sure have come a long way in a short Time!

Thanks Grandpa I think they're doing pretty good myself as well.

I finally got a set of skinny leaves that this strain is know for when it starts sugaring. So hopefully that means i'll start seeing pistils in the next week.

Added in a gallon per tub of ph'd water, I spent an hour at lights on tucking and then another 30 mins just now. Hopefully some of you guys got some good deals today, the only deal i saw was for an 4x8x7' Ioadan grow tent for 20% off which while i was thinking about sold out in 5 mins. I'm off to read some journals and smoke a GrandpaGlue cone. Have a good evening!:high-five:

Looking great OG! Enjoy the cone! . .

So the wife took me to Walmart tonight to shop for the holidays and we'll I just couldn't help myself,

Mama was lonely looking so it's time to make her some friends, there's tons of lowered sites that will never become anything so I figure maybe this contraption can give them a shot at life. It's a 10gal Rubbermaid with two bubble curtain bubble wands and 20 numbered slots filled with foil tape covered foam pucks with a slot for easy clone insertion and removal. There's an aquarium heater in there as well if things are too slow I'll run it on a timer 30on 30 off to give them a little warmth. That's been this saturdays project. Pretty cheaply built unit that I found with a quick search on 420 magazine.

Sweet! Looks great. You'll definitely get some nicely rooted clones using that! I'll be making one soon on a bit of a smaller scale. Just 4 sites :). Looking forward to seeing what you can get going with it .

Thanks man! I doubt I'll ever fill it unless I get some requests in the spring for year one legal growing. But I figure it's better to have the spots and not use them then to have the clones and no spots to put them. The difference for me was simply cutting more holes I guess.

I can almost guarantee you'll get requests for rooted clones lol. I'm expecting it for sure. I may up the number of sites on my cloner for that exact reason actually! Good call. I'm curious about this new micro cultivation license they're talking about. I have a few ideas floating around. Anywho, happy growing!! :)

I'm actually considering going to Walmart on a Sunday. The things we do for love. SMH.
If I sneak in through the garden center the fish stuff is just inside the doors. If I'm lucky I may be able to get in and out without encountering any of the native WalMartians.
