shit 10 bucks should cover the soil and perlite is really cheap and the fish emulsion is bout 8 bucks if you can get some peat moss so write this down and go get some shit (smoke one before shopping makes shit way better)

i would love to smoke one before i go but cant smoke anymore due to acid reflux is messed up i aint bin able to smoke since like feb. everytime i smoke the acid reflux acts up an it give me a panic attack its wack i went from smoking everyday since i was 12 to all of a sudden i had to stop. its sucks so bad... but yea ill right all this down go get it monday. let you know i got it an we can go from there
Watch out for the miracle grow perlite. It now includes plant food. I don't know if its the time release nutes or not. I went to 3 different stores looking for perlite without nutes already in it. Home depot, walmart and lowes all of them had only the miracle grow perlite and I was told I wasn't the only one looking for plain perlite. If theres a plant store or nursery try there. Good luck

dutch, i just picked up some jungle growth pure organic from lowes, it looks decent and about the same price and twice as much as the MG organic
oooh i just picked some up from lowes, it says nothing about any nutes in it and shows no guaranteed anaylsis on the bag anywhere, i looked it over carefully
edit: sorry guys i lied, i was just looking more closely and in fine print i found (guaranteed analysis- .04-.01-.06) derived from ammonium nitrate, ammonium phosphate, calcium phosphate, and potassium sulfate

ok will do guys i got a few nurserys around so ill hit them up first an see if i cant just get everything there in one shot. so ima pick up perlite, soil , peat moss, fish emulsion anything else you can think of cuz i cant go get it till monday so anything you can come up wit to help me out is appriciated. thanks again to all of you that have helped me along the way in this jounal, Hope to learn alot more from all of you
What kind of nutes will you be using? I would pick up some veg and bloom nutes for sure. ;-)

i checked the home depot nutes thread but my home depot dont have any of them exept vigoro allpurpose plant food
i suggest use that one for now untill you can find something better, atleast they will be feeding if not improvise and make your own feed look for chicken shit or cow both have good ferts in them i was looking for a good friend thread about making your own from homem but i cant find it ill look for it again.

Get some worm castings if you are to get everything else cant be that expensive, does anyone know the price 4 those . I have seen great results with these. Hope this helps. Can you take a pic of the bugs

i also agree with worm castings works real well if not get some worms and throw them in your pots.

whats the diff between worm castings an regular worms?
Real small? Tiny little red dot? Only see one today and go back tomorrow and there's 15,000 of the things everywhere (suddenly on both sides of the leaves) swinging from webs like evil Tarzan, sucking the life out of your plants, leaving little pale spots on the leaves, and all chanting together, "We are the Borg. You will be assimiliated" by chance?

Well, they're not quite that bad. But if you've got red spider mites you need to take care of them yesterday.
Well the ammonium nitrate is water-soluble (and how!) so it at least ought to go through the holes assuming you often water to the point of runoff. Can't remember about the other two.
If you're lucky they'll have FoxFarms Ocean Forest soil. Its good to go (just add up to 25% perlite to lighten it).
I don't think I'll EVER buy one of those chintzy little bags of perlite at a department store again. You can get 4-cubic foot bags at most real nurseries, greenhouses, and the like for under $20 and one of those will make a lot of those $2-$5 midget bags. The big bags are also just perlite - no fertilizer.
Not to mention that if you eventually transplant into 3- or 5-gallon buckets, you can quickly go through a lot of supplies. I think one cubic foot of stuff only equals a little over 7 gallons so if you use 5-gallon buckets and have ten in your grow room...

yeah worm castings are worm shits! lol they are pure in nutrients though and ive heard of people adding worms because of the castings.
