1st Post First Attempt At Growing: Indoor LED Setup In Tent: Comments Welcome!

Cheers guys, appreciate the feedback.

I feel like they look much better now with the light really hitting where I want it to. Have to say, in the back of my mind there’s always a voice saying “fuck I hope this doesn’t stress them out and turn them hermy” :laughtwo:

Going to be adding the height extension to my tent today. My tent is currently about 180cm tall and the extension will add an extra 25-30cm. I still have room now but can see I’m definitely going to need the extra space soon lol

Took a few non burple shots this morning and gave a final little trim of any spots I missed yesterday.

About to have a freshly brewed coffee and some lemon haze to get my day started. Have a good one people!

Ok so I figured I might as well get it over with and I’ve upsized the tent.

Super happy with it. Got to raise the lights to around 12” where I really wanted them and I have about a foot of room to raise them up still :cheesygrinsmiley:

Also Cowboy KO’d Iaquinta yesterday and he’s the maaaaaan! :laughtwo:

Apologies to those who don’t enjoy UFC :ganjamon:

Hey Dean nice upgrade  You still getting loads of stretch?

Hey guys,
Little update on the girls.
It’s day 15 of flower after transition today and I think they’re looking fairly happy.
Acapulco has a few signs of light nute burn here and there but she’s been sensitive like that since day one so not stressing about it and I’ll just keep an eye on it.

Since their fairly hefty defoliation they seem to have filled back out fairly quickly and the AG is still getting her stretch on haha. Can’t keep her down!
I might actually have to put a few bricks or something under the Blueberry to keep the canopy even :nervous-guy::laughtwo:

Took a few snaps this morning to share. Any comments or suggestions greatly appreciated as always.

Cheers guys have a good one!

Hey Herb its looks like my flower tent with one monster plant white banner. The other one is a blueberry cross that is a little shrub. I put the blueberry on a case for my drill to try to bring it up level with the other one but it's still shorter lol.

Hahaha yeah brother my Blueberry is currently sitting on a couple of blocks about 3 or 4 inches high but she’s starting to get dwarfed again so will have to get her a new seat :laughtwo:

My count is actually 5 days after flipping to 12/12 based on what I’d been suggested by another grower. He explained he sees the first 5 days as a transition to flower period. So from 12/12 it’s been 20 days today.

I actually had pistils going for a few days prior to the lights being flipped.

What are your thoughts on this?

I have always been a little confused about when to start the count for the flower cycle. I usually start it when I flip but It makes sense to start it 5 days in cause nothing changes to much the first few days other then some stretching.

Yeah I’m definitely in unknown territory lol.
Noooo idea what kind of timeline I’m working with here. Blueberry says 6-8 weeks flower and Acapulco was 10.

My biggest question currently is how to know when to adjust nutrient levels etc.

Can you do it by looking at them?
I mean, @Lowrider72 said to feed PK at 6 weeks but 6 weeks between these 2 plants will surely have them at much different stages of flower.

I’m just lucky to be here at 420 and have such great support to help me through it :passitleft:

Does the nutrients your using have a feed schedule? I know with the nutrients I use it lays it out week by week and has an app that you can work out feed schedules for the amount of weeks they will grow for. Your feed schedule will tell you how much to add when and when to add bloom boosters my nutes say to add bloom boosters at week 2 rather then week 6 because my base nute has a lower Npk

Thats one confusing feed schedule lol

Looks to me that you slowly bump it up until week 4 then you add your pk for one week. then drop it down for weeks 5 to 6. after week 6 you would start your flush on the blueberry as its an 8 week strain. For the ap you would add the pk at week 6 then bump the feed down until week 8 then do your flush for weeks 9 and 10.

The best way to tell if your plants are ready for harvest is with a 30x jewelers loupe so you can check the thricomes when they are mostly milky with some amber they are ready to harvest you can't rely on breeders timelines.

Thanks bro really appreciate you taking the time to check it out and help give me advice.

It is confusing hey! The growth stages and varying times etc lol definitely threw me off.

Will do what you said and keep you posted with photos to show progress.

Do they appear to be the right size etc at the moment for being 15 days into flower?

I think they are looking great covered in bud sites. You did mention above that you thought you have some nute burn on the Acapulco you might want to give it a plain ph watering the next time it needs to be watered so it can use up some of the nutrients in the soil

Sorry Dean,
Got busy... Yeah mate, your strains go longer than mine, If I remember AG was 80-85 days, PK is usually 3 weeks before harvest for one week.
Hope that makes more sense, was talking my plants... Lol.

The girls look GREAT mate, so happy to see you give them a good trim early, will help a lot for yield too.

You got a knack for plants.....

Thanks @N420 appreciate it bro!
I’m happy with them but being my first grow I don’t know how they should really look at each stage haha.
They’re in Coco so cant rely on nutrients in the medium to feed them.
The nute burn is only really mild and isolated to small areas on the plant so I just fed light and got a big amount of runoff.
I’ll monitor it from here and see how they respond :ganjamon:
