1st Post First Attempt At Growing: Indoor LED Setup In Tent: Comments Welcome!

You got some great shots HD what do you use for a camera if thats a phone I'm very impressed I can't get pictures like that with my phone.

A bit of selective defoilation is a good thing remove any large fan leaves blocking bud sites. Just don't over do it
Hey bro thanks!
Yeah I have an iPhone X but I use attachable lenses from a company called moment. Fairly cheap and good quality.

Ok so just finished the defoliation up tonight and untangled them a little.

Can someone tell me what to do to get the sticky off? :laughtwo: I’ve used methylated spirits but any old tips or tricks would be mint.

Anyway, here’s a few shots under white light and my macro that’s twice as zoomed as the other ones. Just cos it’s cool to zoom in and check those little trichomes. So alien looking!

Top job man. Enjoy the stink fingers...

Well done HD! They will be thanking you for the breathing room.
:welldone:

I use a bunch of Isopropyl alcohol and hand sanitizer when I'm harvesting plants, to combat the resins. LoL

I keep one pair of trimmers soaking (just the tips) in a shot glass of iso while I trim with the others. When they get gummy, I switch. The pair that have been soaking will wipe clean with a paper towel.

Generally the hand sanitizer gel will keep it off my hands as long as I don't let it accumulate too much. LoL

When my fingertips get really boogered up, I'll scrub them with iso & a toothbrush, then wash hands with regular soap.

To get the sticky off of my scissors and my hands I use olive oil just rub a little on your hands then add some soap and it will take that resin right off.

Beautiful shots Dean the girls are looking fantastic

Hey guys,

Bit stressed this afternoon..

I’ve recently found roughly 4-5 fungus gnats around the top soil of Blueberry. Squashed them all and couldn’t see any more so hoped it was done with.

Came home from work today and there’s about 20 of them having a party on Blueberry :nervous-guy:

Can someone please help me out with some tips on getting rid of them?

I’m growing in coco but since the mould issue early on I changed my feed schedule to every 2 days which the plants have been loving.

Appreciate any help

Get a fan blowing across the top of the soil. They don't fly too well.

You can also dust your medium with Diatomaceous Earth.
:thumb:

I've seen a bunch of people use the yellow, card style sticky traps.

Hey brother Dean :bongrip: darn gnats!
I usually use neem oil as a soil drench to get rid of any larvae in the soil - and then sprinkle cinnamon on top of the soil. Always works for me :Namaste:

Cheers @Preston9mm and @irie lion!
I just woke up but I left a sticky trap across the coco last night so hopefully that helps.

It won’t matter putting the neem oil or diatomaceous earth in there at this stage of the grow?

I’ll see if I can find some. Thanks for the tips :high-five:

@juststarting thanks for checking it out! Hopefully the girls put on a show for the remainder of the grow :ganjamon:

Here's a pretty good read on DE.
DE info

Hope that helps.... I've never had negative side effects from using it.

So I came home tonight and fed the girls cos I won’t have time in the morning.

Found about 3 or 4 gnats and none on the sticky strips. Exterminated them with my all powerful and mighty green thumb :laughtwo:

After and sponging up a good amount of runoff I saw maybe one more gnat and squished it.

Hung around and watched closely but no more to be found... for tonight lol

Anyway it’s pretty much 4 weeks of flower on the dot so thought I’d update with a few pics.

Cheers 420 family :ganjamon:

Looking really, really good in there brother Dean! :yummy: The frost is setting in... time for them buds to fatten up! :meatballs::meatballs::meatballs::bongrip::ganjamon:

Thank you bro!
It’s definitely an exciting time haha. Looking forward to seeing how much weight these girls put on!

I actually ordered another 6 inch oscillating fan today which will cross over from the one on the bottom currently. It’ll be directed at Acapulco specifically to blow over the roots and push air through the canopy.

My humidity has been creeping up lately even with the mini dehumidifier so I ordered a second one today. Mould or bud rot issues are the last things I want.

Anyway other than the fungus gnats and a bit of tip burn on AG I’m pretty surprised with how I’m going at this point lol :Rasta:

Hey 420 family just wanted to ask for some feedback.

Last photos were bang on week 4 of flower, how are my girls tracking for size at this point? From what I understand they don’t start filling out until now but I’ve seen a bunch of other grows looking much more developed at the same stage of flower.

Just trying to gauge the grow being my first time. I hear a lot of talk about different light types being better or worse for yield.

Any feedback would be great thanks guys
