your plants are stressed because the leds are too close to them. same thing happened to my plants. they need to be 24" or more away for now. besides that looking good. there is 10,000 lux 24" away from that light fixture and that's more than enough for small to medium sized plants.

edit: just saw your last update.. nice turnaround :high-five:

what distance from your light fixture are they now?

nice work. please do not defoliate your plants or you'll decrease your yield. I really want to see what you can yield from the 100x3w light fixture.

Uh Ohhh .. I've been making alot of research since last night figuring out if defoliating the plants would actually increase or decrease the yield , and there seem to be more pros than cons without real evidence of it being harmful for the plants . I think im just going to defoliate the bottom right one because its REALLY dense and bushy and no light could ever penetrate the center

because leaves are known as sources. their job is to supply the plant. they stretch far and wide to collect as much light as possible for the plant(s) to use to build itself. technically anything green can collect light, but leaves are by far the most efficient.

buds are known as sinks. they accumulate and use energy while things like leaves create energy. plants easily transport materials from top to bottom and vice versa. if a leaf isn't providing for a plant anymore it will lose color and be in the way of green tissue. what's cool is that it'll actually move itself out of the way. these leaves are ok to remove.

you can't compare the way the creator set it up / science to a few peoples opinions. on top of that I've seen defoliated buds and they're smaller and not pyramid shaped like proper colas. leaves provide for the plant, that's just the way it is.
