1st Journal From Phone, 4 WWA & 5 TWA, Thanks For Any Tips & Help Along The Way

New RO System for the girls. Made the PH go up from 8.2 to around 10.3 . But the ppm was 0. Don't know what difference it's going to make. I can ph it down. The ppm is what is making my curiosity up. That's some clean water.

Moved the fan to the end of the tent and decided to let my lst have a light all to herself, going to see what the RO water and nuets do tomorrow, they all seem healthy and happy except for the clones, keeping an eye on them, they're a little slower than the auto's. I'll have to wait to take pictures of the rest for some reason

The rest.

The last two pictures are of 1 I'm lst'ing. Hopefully she will take off, enough bid spots to choke a horse.

I'll update about the RO and nuets when I water, any comments or suggestions would be welcome .

First feeding with RO and nuets. I like this number better than 2500+ ppm pen. Going with the low ph, I think its supposed to be around 6.5 but my kid says 6.0 so anyone want settle the argument. I even showed him the scale I got off here.

Thanks in advance

I do 6.2 ph in soil-seems to work so I'm stickin' with it-
I don't have a ppm tester,so ppm is an "it is what it is" thing...
Your pics from yesterday look good-your ladies are looking happy!

Hey Mojuan - just got caught up :ganjamon:
Regarding watering to runoff - it shouldn't be necessary for now as your plants roots won't be taking up all that soil space in the pot. As long as you are watering evenly and your plants are looking happy you should be all fine with how you've been watering my friend! :Namaste::passitleft::bongrip:

Now that the babies are in the flower tent, time to pop a few more auto flower train wreck, I have 6 seeds but only 5 popped and I'll leave the 6th in water for another 24 hours and see what happens. Should I start another journal or continue on with this 1?15581952711823593819080967342993.jpg

Pretty good haul for your first grow:goodjob: You did very well, considering the problems you had !

It's up to you if you want to start a fresh journal-I didn't,because I actually didn't even think of it until
I was a few weeks into my new plants,so I'm just going to go with it-next plants,I'll start a new one.

It's about the same-you'll just need to add more ph up/down to the 5 gallons.
It would be easier if you only need a gallon at a time-you could ph 5 gallons, and then you'd be set for the next 5 waterings....
But,you should ph after you add nutes, and I'm not sure if it's good to premix the nutes and then let them sit in a bucket for weeks-I do know that water with nutes added will start to grow algae very fast if any light gets to it.
And the nutes may lose some potency if they're premixed too far in advance of using the water.

i was using a horse syringe and i was getting mad because 1 drop was sending the ph way past my target. Too big of drops i guess, so i brained stormed with the wifey and decided maybe a insulin syringe might work better, smaller drops. Sure nuff, had better control of the swings. shooting for 6.5 but would settle for a little less if it popped up on my meter. I watered to run off today and it took about 4 gallons, ph only, as soon as i got a good reading. no nutes, thats next time and i'm only going to use 1/2 strength. Done messing with them today lol

If you're going to use 4 gallons at a time, then ph-ing it all at once would be a time saver.
I hate it when I overshoot the ph down, then I've got to bring it back up,which is easy to overdo-
I feel like throwing it out and starting over...I've got a barrel of rainwater I'm using right now,so I don't usually need to adjust it.

side note, we are in a severe weather zone today in oklahoma, its not if but when and where it will break out today. predicted that in the oklahoma city area to happen between 2 pm and 2 am, baton down the hatches.... could be a ruff ride

Now it's time to get ready for the storms to come in, be weather aware today if you're in Oklahoma.
