Iv had some funky smells come from my Northern Lights from RQS before lol first 4 smelled like candy, then next 8 smelled like gassy farts then the next time it smelt a musky gassy smell almost like what bud rot smells like, but every time the smell got stronger so did the end result in potency so if yours smelled like dog shit in the first 4 weeks you never know it may end up the same way as mine .

Lol after all these reviews about smell I better up my game on filter and ONA sprays as I am growing RQS Northen Light for my next grow.

As long as you use an over sized filter for your tent or just a decent filter it keeps the smell down, i went through loads of gels and deodorisers none of them work, spent around $300 on sprays ect.

I tape the inside of my tent up, anything thats got a stitch in i cover it, odour free ever since, but then again i run a 6" 600mm carbon filter in a 1x1m tent and an 8" 600 filter in my 4x8 so id be hoping for no smells after the price i pay .

The last 4 weeks of a northern lights life can be very stinky in the right conditions, they get super sticky compared to the majority of strains iv grown!

Years ago I grew a big crop of hash plant it stunk the whole house up like cat piss.

What light are you using?

I found that the first 3 weeks of flower with NL from RQS love high humidity in those first 3 weeks of the flip, no idea why but iv ran it loads of times side by side.

Leaving one tent at 40-50% HM during the night kept the buds nice size, very tight and ended up harvesting some times at week 7, so doing it that way your environment is bang on from start to finish.

Now the other tent, i turned the extractor down to where the HM would rise to around 75% during the night only till week 3 dont go any further if you try it, to where the buds were mega sizes, the picture you see as my profile picture to the right was one of those buds, there just as dense as the other buds in the other tent, someone who came and seen the second lot of plants said it was as if the first 3 weeks of flower looked like long fox tailing but once you switch back to 40/50% HM in the start of week 4 its all back to business they fatten up so quickly, yours will still fatten up yet and lots of time.

I chop at week 7-8 for a okay high (day high so your capable of motivating yourself but as i speak im supposed to be welding yet im laid on my bed )or week 9 for a couch lock and week 10 for a really knock out but be careful how long you grow them as they sometimes begin to hermie on there selves around week 9-10.

Yield on this strain is debatable, i grow 4, from seed popping above soil to the date i flip is exactly 6 weeks, grown in 20L pots, coco/perlite mix along with a selection of base nutrients and a 600mh for veg & 600w HPS for flower i yield 20+ oz every single time thats without topping but a little bit of training with a screen, now imagine this strain grown in DWC that is what i want to try!

Yes mate iv always said if you can master your grow room conditions from start to finish with not a problem then you can alter stuff the next time you grow .

Hey for a 300w led its done its job i would of said, iv only ever ran hps, got amazing results with it and the best part about it, each hps setup iv got only cost £50 each and have lasted me years, looks like your mastering the growing art very well for your first attempt .

Hey Bingo, how's a going? Use your sugar leaves for hash, and concentrates. I freeze mine until I have a few gallon bags. I search for "making bubble hash".
