1st Grow - Bubblelicious CFL & LED Grow Tent

Day 43 Update time. Both girls are growing up nicely. Bubba has started flowering and according to Nirvana, In 8-10 weeks she should be ready for harvest. Man that seems like a long ways away! She is going to get HUGE by then. Kandy is adding to her density trying to make her daddy proud.

On to the pics:

Have a great day all!

Both girls are drinking lots of water now. I am giving them water every other day!

Nice work Ma! I water my adult plants (3 feet-ish) a half a quart of water every other day. I watered yesterday morning and had droop by the night when I returned, so I will need to revisit that - ma girls are growing up! Via CFL, however, they had to be watered less often. Even then as they grew you had to adjust, obviously. Looks like all the right things are happening for your grow!

Been real lucky i guess. Thank you!

Nah man, with all the posting and beautiful pics you take the care is obvious. No luck about this man - it's all you. Nice work. Not rocket science - just need some love for the process on top of the love for the product. I had a plant that when I returned home last night wasn't looking very good. I fed her and fell asleep worrying about it. Ha ha. I'm not crazy, but as I embark on a journey to significantly improve the health of my wife - conventional medicine has failed us. We're throwing all we have at this including a whole perspective change. Gratitude is key. Organic food, low sugar, assloads of supplements, fresh air, exercise when possible, juicing (including cannabis), RSO, meditation, castor-oil packs, hydration. Everything.

It all starts here! Something about gardening in general, and cannabis farming more specifically that is good for the soul. Obviously, your plants are rewarding you for the care right about now. I hope you catch the same bug I did like this.

Might you consider re-vegging one of these beauties when you harvest?

Mr Pilot I think you need to buy a jewellers loupe, 30x is the magnification you will need. Why you ask so you can look at your trichomes.

Yes you for sure need to check trichomes when it comes to harvesting! If you are purchasing a jewelers loop i would however recommend one with a little more magnification! Me personally, its really hard to see with a 30x.... I have a 60x and a 0-500x usb microscope on the way getting ready for my harvest! I will let you know how they are once i receive them! The jewelers loops are fairly cheap but the usb microscope i ordered was $22! Hope this helps!

I did order one last week from the big A, However It is coming from China, might take a few weeks. I am sure I have the time :)

Question this morning concerning the "top hairs" on the top of bud formation. In the pic below you can see the top kola's top hairs have shrunk. No longer sporting the Don King look. Is this normal? Is the flower just getting tighter or do I potentially have an issue?

Top Kola I am interested in...

Other kolas that still have hairs growing on top...

Did you bump into anything with her? Just looks like they have been smushed or something? Maybe someone that knows more can let us know but it looks like it will be ok to me? If you bump them they are sticky and usually stay where ever they are moved to. I wouldnt worry about it...

Update Day 46! Good morning 420, It's Friday!

Ok so the girls are still doing fantastic, I believe I may need to raise the light a bit higher today as Bubba is starting to catch up with Kandy in height. Kandy's top bud hais (whatever you call them) are not really sticking up any longer. I don't believe i bumped it, however I am thinking maybe its too much light and the hairs are getting singed. (?)

Also going to wait until later today to water them. They still feel a little moise, I know you should not let a flowering plant go completely dry either, but I am going to be watching them closely today.

Temps have been pretty steady, with RH at around 50% (the best I can do. Can't get it lower without putting the dehumidifier in the room, that however raises the temps too high) and temps between 75 - 78
