Brothers Grimm was always out when I was looking so I bought some from Female Seeds. I figure i would give it a try and then eventually get some beans from the original breeder and do some comparing. I have heard great things about the C99 strain. Its one of the strains on my short list for starting the perpetual grow. I think she is slated in about the number 7 slot if I remember correctly.

I saw them on CKS as well. I have never bought from CKS. I will defer to you on their version. I hope its some fire for you!!

My c99 X Blueberry is doing great, I'm excited for it for sure, goes into flower tent soon when I pull Skunk#1 out in a day or so

If this turns out good a true C99 will be on my list for sure

I don't know....I am not a THC fiend so not really the determining thing for me in terms of smoke (more important in my oil). I believe the Dutch Passion is listed at around 14%

Lol hey now I'm no THC fiend, but when you've been smoking daily for about 15 years you kinda need something a little strong :P

I don't know I sample a lot of stuff from the stores and stuff here, and I haven't noticed the THC rating really meaning a lot anyway. I had some stuff that was supposedly only 11% but it was just COVERED in crystals and worked fine. Meanwhile, I'll try some stuff that's supposedly 30% THC and looks like some old brick I use to buy and it'll be a dud. I think there's something fishy going on with the testing that really screws up my perspective on how high I actually need.

That's why I've been getting my own stuff tested. My Blackberry Kush is probably like what I'd call "decent" but it's 21% and knocks all my friends on their ass so... I think I have a bit of a tolerance problem haha

I've always liked ATF because it very rarely is available in anything under 25%. I can't really notice much difference between the stuff available in the stores and the ATF I first tried way back in 2004'ish, but my tolerance not being what it is now at that time, I was soaring. I tried some ATF from a store recently that didn't quite give me that same intense high, but it only took like maybe half as much as my Blackberry Kush for the same effect so it saved my lungs quite nicely.

I know one thing for sure.....Vans display of ATF makes me drool everytime theirs an update to look at. It's a pretty plant to look at and if it's half as good for pain as Van states.......well! Can't wait to finally break ground on my Canadian version of the Stank soil..... Everything's grooving right along in the New space...looking amazing for a new years trial!

LOL, No, I wasn't insinuating that you were a THC fiend. I was simply saying that while strength is appealing, I read about the supposed effects and type of high and I get interested in trying different strains for different reasons. I believe for me it was the supposed energetic and uplifting type of high that Durban Poison is supposed to have. I don't normally need or like to smoke early in the day so on those rare occasions that I do, I want something that will help me be productive but not destroy me mentally either. It makes working outside in the garden very enjoyable, hell I even like cleaning the house after smoking some DP.

As for the ATF, its a strong strain for sure brother. I think the initial 1/8th I bought in seattle was about 20% but it would mess with your head a bit if you weren't careful. I would love to test mine to see what its sitting at, but I think I will wait until I can write it off as an expense! I think you will like the yield of it as well. Its great in oil as well (in my opinion anyways.....plus I dosed with it early tonight and am feeling great). She will grow tall if you don't hold her ass down and there is a lot of side branching.

Flower Day 50 Update - Day 43 With Hairs

Lots of yellowing of the ATF leaves happening. It happened on the first go around, just not quite as early. I definitely have more bud sites and I think they are bigger buds on average this time around so I am guessing that the buds are taking everything from the leaves. Not too worried as the buds look awesome. The Durban continues to purple up and man those buds are freaking tight!!!! There is NO give when I squeeze them. Blueberry is starting to firm up a bit. ATF by nature is an airier strain but this go feels like its a bit tigher. The Blue Kush is frosting up more than it did last time around and its getting pretty solid.

Breeding update - We cut and rinsed all the remaining branches off of the AFT 1.1 plant for seeds. Letting them dry a little bit before we start trying to harvest. Maybe we will try a few smaller branches tonight and hit the bigger colas tomorrow after Ms Stank gets home from work. Current count is 232 good seeds (minus those given away) and I am guessing the total yield will exceed 2000 seeds. We will find out in a couple days.
