Howdyph to 5.8. dunno what you are feeding. can't overwater in coco really, so feed often. should be feeding daily at least.
That's been my experience too. Even though they germ and get above the soil literally within hours of each other, they mature at different rates.I have read several journals etc and they talk about pulling one at day 79 but then pulling others days or even several days later.
First, you're certainly not a pest! We all want to get it right, so we ask questions. I've noted that there's plenty of help on the 420!Sorry to be such a pest I just wanna get this one right
I run my lights 18/6. Some growers go for more light, but others feel that the plants will rest anyway, so why not save some wear and tear on the lights? I don't know which view is correct, so I try not to overthink it.I have them on 19/5 should I ramp up 24 hrs light for the run home?
I've never grown NL, but my brother has. I've smoked what he grew, and liked it. Good taste, good buzz, really kicks the snot out of my wife's scoliosis pain. I'd like to give it a grow, but the amount of negative reviews has kept me back. Some claim it can be hard to grow.Have you grown Northern Lights b4
Yea I probably won't NL again in soil or anything for that matter , I'd like to find a better to control medium.coco/perlite maybeI've never grown NL, but my brother has. Blond Moment, hahaAre you confusing tricomes with brown hairs? The picture show tricomes maybe 20- 30% amber. If there are white hairs the plant is not ready.
I'd have to disagree. Most growers depend on the color of the trichomes when judging maturity rather than hair color. Your photo showed cloudy trichomes; next would come the trichome color change which in my experience has nothing to do with the color of the hairs, although also my experience has been that by the time most trichomes turn rusty, most of the hairs will have turned red - but not necessarily all.If there are white hairs the plant is not ready.
I think your explanation makes more sense to me than a simple......If it has white hair itss not ready.....bit of a generalisation if you ask meI'd have to disagree. While we're on the subject, some growers claim that harvesting sooner rather than later will yield a high that is more cerebral than the body high typical of indica. Accordingly, harvesting later rather than earlier will give more of a body high - or so "they" say. Of course, the particular strain probably has more to do with this than harvest time. Or I would guess.
Anyone else want to venture an opinion?
