So its Friday update time

Day 35 of flower, 5 weeks in - 5 weeks to go....

Plants are really starting to bud out now. Buds have started joining up and are drenched in thrichomes, inside the tent fooking stinks when the fans are on. no smells outside of it though so glad its contained. Started with the PK 13/14 tonight. my EC was at what I consider to be my maximum of 2.0 and didn't want to go higher so iv dropped back on the A & B by 10ml per 10L now using 30ml of A&B instead of 40ml of each per 10L. Iv started out at 10ml per 10L of the PK but will increase this to full dose by end of next week unless plants show signs of burning. still using the Ionic boost at 10ml per 10L. E.C is now at 2.0 - 2.2 but im going over there a little more often this week to keep a close eye on things. PH still 5.8. Temps are still in the ideal range. really starting to think the yield will be much better than originally thought because im half way in and if I was to chop now there would be 2 oz per plant dry.. so im already in my bonus 5 weeks in....

Strain in Jack Herer. Very nice plant named after the late activist him self. Top Grade. in a different league to the cheeses. this type of grade isn't really for sale. too good to share but when it is about it isn't about for long. top end prices for Jack..

hey welcome to the grow. yeah the whole concept plan of the grow was to keep is as simplistic as I could while maintaining a respectable harvest. everything serves its purpose. yeah the camera's really do help and give me that piece of mind that everything is ok when ever I need it. il be updating tonight with some more bud porn.. stay tuned

Monday Update time Day 38 of flower, 32 Days to go.....

Hey all, So I seemed to be worrying for nothing. I was concerned the higher EC numbers due to the PK13/14 was maybe going to burn the ladies even though I did lower the amount of A+B but the ladies seem very happy, no noticeable problems or burns so EC 2.2 seems stable. Although they can handle this amount I didn't want to keep it there so I spent a good 45 minutes today adjusting things to bring the newly added 10L amounts down to EC 1.8....

new formula is 25ml of A+B 15ml of Ionic boost, 15ml of PK13/14, 5ml of H2O2, 5ml of liquid silicone and 3ml of ph down Per 10L of water the EC of all this is 1.4 and the EC of the water I add it too is EC 0.4 so 1.8 all in.

reservoirs are still reading EC 2.0 but this will lower as the Wilma's pump it out and I add the new, lower EC solution. Im going to use the PK13/14 till week 7 then bump the A+B up to 40ml each per 10L so EC remains the same at 1.8. Il do this until week 9 then put PH'd water in the tanks and add a small dose of molasses to add the extra sweetness and stickiness.

Im also going to be putting the 600w MH's back in from the start of week 8 and adding the x3 250w HPS's so give them 1800w of blue spec and 750w of red spec to really give them the end of life boost....

Still no noticeable smells up to or in the property. although the tent is stinking to high heavens. but that negative pressure is doing its job well. Iv also got x3 auto air wicks scattered around the property on 15 minute bursts but set up in order so they go off 5 minutes apart from each other there is also x2 tubs of Ona gel and one tub of Ona inside the filter its self. so glad its all working can never be too carful. whole place smells of vanilla..

temps have gone down abit. so may have to get the 1200mm tubular heaters and reptile thermostat out for next grow to bump the night temps back up. there hovering around the 18-20.c mark so not the end of the world but I like 20.c + during night temps.

anyways think that's it now. as usual plenty of bud porn for you to feast your eyes on. next update on Friday

UPDATE TIME...

42 Days in... 28 Days to go...


Week 6 starts today and its starting by giving me a big smile... Today is 7 days since I started the PK13/14 and what a difference!! The buds have put some weight on and boy oh boy is it noticeable. Some are as wide as a Tin of Stella, usually this doesn't happen until the end of flowering.. but these have no signs of being ready yet. trich's are still clear and no visible red hairs any where, so looks like there going to be donkey dicks by the end of the next 4 weeks.

EC is now 1.8 and im now using full dose of the PK13/14 I might continue to use it up to end of week 8 to really bump them up... Temps are in the golden range. nothing to report problem wise.. although the smell is absolutely amazing. so strong and sweet.

anyway enough talk. here's the pics....

and some in comparison to the tin of stella.. ( that I enjoyed afterwards I may add haha )

It takes a while to build up the rep and to get people to follow along. By the looks of it the people will be coming along and commenting plenty soon. You got a great garden mate. One way to get more people is to sub and participate in others journals more. I am watching your show dude.
