126W Penetrator LED Full Bloom

hehe i would be happy to provide data as well if i recieved what pitviper requested... i will say if you give a fixture to him you wont be disappointed, viper has bomb grows happenin 365/24/7.... premium quality :D

How bout this. supply me with enuf LED's for my current area...9x8 and 2k of hps and Ill be happy to test them out for you and no Im not joking.

I wish you were, cause not even Ed Rosenthal asked for that many free lights... Too bad he's in Amsterdam now till the end of the month, kinda makes me a bit upset since I was supposed to have update pictures today...

So yea I'm impressed!, but is this the end of the line? Is there more beta units in testing or do you think LED prices need to drop to make the next move?

Just asking cause with all the stats on the line other lurking companies could catch on! You have to keep beeting them to stay on top!

It should ship out Friday by the way...

No, this isn't the end of the line. In the future, we will have a new Pro model light, that will use the highest lumen output LED's that we can find, at each of our nm outputs. We are currently testing multiple LED's from different companies on 1 machine, to compare the lumen output from one to another, without any variance in the testing equipment. Once we land on the best, production will be soon to follow, although sourcing the LED's has been quite a task.

We have a very new model coming in soon as well, that takes lighting in a completely new direction. It's an expansion of our current model, but if everything goes right, we'll literally change everything about growing plants and turn your world upside down with it. The test unit will be arriving in a few weeks, as there were some custom parts we had to source in order to create it. Once it's been thoroughly tested by yours truly, and if it works, you guys are in for a big game changer. Anyhow, that's all I can really say on it, as I'm already ahead of the pack and plan to keep it that way lol.

It may be true, but to fill a 9' x 8' canopy with 126W units, he'd need about 18 of them! you can't just ask a company for $6000+ in free lights

Sweet on the shipping!
Yeah I'm glad to see there's more "TECHNOLOGY" on the way. I already want to replace my penetrator "TECHNOLOGY" that aint even on the boat yet with the next model!
Do you think it would ever be possible for HPS or something to come back and take the lead again? For example make a 1000 watt HID only emit one spectrum instead of the 90% waste?! that would be crushing to leds!

I guess you kinda got my point. How bout this...Ill use the spare veg room which is 3x5. Ill give you a real documented grow all nice and pretty. I really want to try LED but Im not sold enuf on them yet but Ill try anything.
you ship them Ill either show that they are next best thing to sliced white bread or that they are not. If it works people will be buying them right and left, I may be an unknown but that doesnt mean I cant grow. there is 50k plus members here and our journal is known.
If Ed doesnt have the time Ill do it, Ill have it up and running in 3 days max
you can choose the nutes and the system, I have several to choose from
Its a win-win for ya if it works. I can grow on concrete

Maybe in the short term, if they could figure out how to get HID to emit only one or two spectrum, but not in long term. If you take a 1000W HPS, it produces about 140-150lm per watt. Sulphur Plasma lights have a higher lumen per watt value (I believe), but area also a full spectrum light. Getting a HPS to produce any more lumens, is going to be a stretch, as they're nearly maxed out as it is now. Seoul LED recently released a 1W white LED (full spectrum) that emits 240 lumens. Since LED's are chips, their efficacy will continue to increase over the upcoming years, leading to undoubtedly the highest lumen per watt output of any light source in the world. LED's are already on top, so with more development I don't see a way that anything will surpass them. Maybe 50-100 years from now we'll have a newer and better technology, but for now I believe LED will reign supreme once it takes full hold of the market.

I see that some of our inquisitive members might be getting under your skin a lil bit. Like i said before, i hope you dont take it personal.

companies have made the same convincing arguments you have made before and to no avail. So people are naturally skeptical. On our end it feels redundant.

But I do have a questions for you, you seem to be well educated on marijuana from an horticultural aspect. How come your product only has a 30 day guarentee. Yes, i am well aware that this is a standard in almost all commercial products, and you arent infact shortchanging anyone doing this, however, no strain, flowers in 4 weeks, why not maybe a 60 day?

Its a win-win for ya if it works and by your comments I think your believer

Now I am in no way questioning your ability to grow whatsoever, nor your credibility on this forum. But honestly, do you know how many requests I get like yours? Literally every week I have a new grower, who has a following going on some forum, asking me for free units, offering to do a demonstration, and saying they'll sell lots of lights for me. To date, I've given out exactly 0 free units to those who've requested. The only free unit (other than what Ed Rosenthal received) that's being sent, is going to Setting Sun on this forum for a comparison grow against the Haight PPF-800, 190W LED grow light. I did so at the request of the moderators here, and after the test is complete he has the option to get the unit or return it.

So you have a 3' x 5' spare room, but what would your canopy space be? With LED, I only supply enough light for the canopy area, so it would be good to know. Also, are you aeroponic, hydroponic, or dirt? I prefer aero. What brand of nutrients do you have for options? I prefer Advanced, but there are a lot of good brands out there. I may be willing to work out some sort of deal for you to post a journal online, but I won't be offering you free units.

No, they don't really get to me, I'm just a blatant person at heart and sometimes it might come off that way lol. A lot of people tend to think of themselves as mini-celebrities online, failing to realize that I'm one too haha.

Why I don't do a longer warranty... Cause then I'd have people complaining that it wasn't a 90 day or 120 day so that they could do an entire grow cycle. I give a 30 day warranty from the day you receive the product, because that's all the time it takes to evaluate our product. You'll see within the first 2 weeks how fast the plants grow and how much they love the light, and if you're blooming with them right off the start, you'll see amazing things from week 1-4 in your bloom room. Most people notice the difference right away, at least from the feedback I've received. Also, if I were to make it a 90-120 day return, if I did get returned units, they'd most certainly need to be sold as "used". To date, I've had 0 returns.

this has proven to be a good read, regardless of what anyone thinks of LEDs..

im subscribed lol

well we currently use H&G and also have GH Floranova,GH 3 part and Advanced
we can use an EbbnGrow, waterfarms, powergrowers and MegaGardens

I have found somthing a little better than LED.

just go to ebay.com and search

"184 watt grow light, beats 2x 90 led ufo, hps metal 90w"

Has anyone tested this unit???

Try it out and let us kno how it goes

Oh, i kno pit may not be the most charismatic guy around lol, but here is where you could see his ladies

It's 8 CFL bulbs like you can buy at Home Depot, with a reddish screen over it. It's similar to those "party lights" where they paint the bulbs different colors to emit that color of light.

Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me to see that CFL beat 2, 90W UFO's off ebay. CFL grows rather well, and most LED's don't. If I were you, I'd go ahead and buy some red tint, get some bulbs from Home Depot and test out his concept. The only thing that makes me raise an eyebrow though, is that he uses the same marketing tactic as everyone else: claim my light can beat this or that, but don't post any data to show it. Also, if you look at the light when turned on, it emits more of an orange color, not the reddish purple you see from LED's...

Dude, if that thing was any more ghetto.... LMAO. I mean it's made out of wood, guy couldn't even paint it for $75. LOL and the shipping is $42.00!!

LOL I know, calm down with the scientific answers HGL! its a long shot to say the least hahaha

LoL, but I think it may actually beat some of the really cheap eBay UFO's that just use red/blue.

Hella cheap concept if it works, and it's an easy way for people currently using CFL to maybe get more output don't you think? Getting the right spectrum would be hard, but if he figured it out, I'm sure someone else could too lol.

An appeal to the subscribers in this thread.
