12 plants mixed strains, remo nutrients, 2xse7000 spiderfarmer leds

I'm a major league lollipopper on my photoperiods so I'll chime in. LMK if I've left anything out!

I do the big defol and stripping at least a week before flip. That allows the plant to start moving all new growth to the top of the plant where you want the colas to develop.

Here is a before and after of my standard lollipop:

I take all the inner branches that will never make the canopy as well as a lot of the leaves from the lower and middle of the plant.

Here's a pic of what that looks like 10 days later (different plant):

My goal is two-fold: force all growth to the top and create airflow through the middle when it starts to get dense during flower.

21 days after flip (sativas take longer) I will do another cleanup, but this time all the fans remain. I take off any new weak branches that have grown over the last month, and because my goal is #nolarf, I take off any flowers on the lower part of a branch that I don't think will connect to the main top on the end.

Here is what my 21-day post-flip thinning looks like:

100%. You can get more cuttings when you lollipop than you can possibly use unless you have a farm!
This is what i want to achieve! Your plants look fantastic sir InTheShed!

My plants in veg are half your size from what i see.

So lets say i am training 10 branches and i am 1 week before 12/12, is it ok to lollipop my branches until 3rd or 4rth node? Is this going to give me a total of 9 or 10 nodes with flower after the stretch is done?

Are you growing outdoors? In a greenhouse?

I love your style. I cant wait to apply this knowledge on the next batch!!!!

Thanks Known! I grow outside in the backyard during the day with supplemental lighting indoors at night. When I want to flip I just turn the lights off inside at night, so I get two grows in a year that way. I used to try to keep that up during the winter but this year and last I'm just growing in the tent November to March.

I never count nodes so it's hard for me to say, but when I lollipop it's the whole plant since any lower nodes that aren't near the top are already gone by then. I tend to top above the 8th node and tend to cut off at least the first, so I guess mine are 7 nodes, but with inner growth from training it's 14 mains but more from everything else at the canopy.

Not 100% #nolarf but pretty close!

The definition of big bud ☺️

You get two grows that means you veg for 4 months to get them in that size before flip right?

Bravo for putting all the work in to get that second harvest and to get these big plants!!

Im still unaware of how much to strip…

If i make the big lollipop 1 week before flip, until 3rd node, by the time the week passes i think im gonna end up with 2 extra nodes making a total of 5 nodes before the flip.

I will try this and see where i end up.

Hopefully🤞 everything will be better!

Most years I would start something in March and veg until May and flip for a late summer harvest, and do another seed drop in June for late fall. This year and last I pared it down to one outdoor grow because I really have way more on hand than anyone can smoke. :coolsmoker:

I'm unsure how the nodes enter into it. Do you mean cut off the first two and make the 3rd node the lowest? I've selected the nodes that are staying long before I lollipop if that helps.

Merry Christmas to all the Knowns and Unknowns! 🎄

Goodmorning

You must average 200g per plant or more right? Those buds your grow are the size of a 👊😜

I feeded 4 girls last night and this morning i find them all with yellow leaves!!!

they got yellow in 12 hours!!!

I feed them 1.8ec but i dont know whats happening…

I think i nutrient lockout them 😔

Damn that's no Christmas miracle. :(

If your using Remo's nute schedule I'm guessing that's a toxicity since they run incredibly hot in flower. I'm not at my computer to run the numbers for you but I would flush and refeed at the last veg numbers for now.

Or if you can wait an hour or so I can get an actual mix for you.
I read somewhere that extra P is causing this?

My bluelab ec pen is acting weird the last month after i cleaned it with alcohol and ear cotton sticks.

Something tells me that yesterday it was a hot feed 😟

I just placed an order for new ec pen. Hopefully arrives in the next days

I'm guessing that your Canna medium is peat-based, buffered with lime per their website here (that doesn't have an ingredient list):

If these were mine I would flush with tap water 3x the pot size and once it stops dripping feed this:

AstroFlower: 6.6ml
Magnifical: 15.2 ml
VeloKelp: 9 ml
Epsom salt: 0.5g

That should put you here:

Epsom salt should be under your bathroom sink. :)

Do this for all plants who have yellow?

So i am having a toxicity or a soil ph unbalance?

The numbers you give are per gallon?

Thank you, a million 🙏

Yes. I don't know if the others will follow close behind though. Those numbers would be my recommendation for anyone using Remo in full flower, whether the plants look good or not.

The easiest and most accurate way to check the pH of the substrate would be with a slurry test. Those are never a bad idea, but most pH issues show up more gradually as the pH changes over time rather than overnight.

If you decide to run a slurry test remember it's done with distilled water, not RO.

I hope it does the trick. :goodluck:

Can i have your remo schedule intheshed??

What I posted will take you from 4-5 weeks post flip to harvest.
Is it legit to use veg nutes first 2 weeks then 3rd week 50% veg + 50% bloom then 4rth week start using your formula???

Also do i make water feed water????

Sorry i grab on you like this but these plants put the bread on our table😔

I'd probably have a different formula for veg and amother for stretch, but let's see how these do before we get into the next grows' numbers?

Feed feed feed.

Glad to help where I can Known. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do after the flush and new formula.

The more you do good the more good things will happen 😋
