10 Years Celebration From First Grow

Interesting concept @HPS Only . Looking forward to see how it works out. Had a bad germinating year and only have 1 plant to clone off of. Still waiting for my tap roots to grow from my last order. The first 4 seeds tap roots stopped growing at a 1/4 inch and did nothing afetr I planted them. Doing my last 4 seeds now and have remained 1/4 inch for the last 3 days. In other words, I am totally dependant on the 1 plant that seeded properly. :(

not that good, as I made alot of mistakes, comin back tomorrow, when I'm on spot as I grow remote, with pics on the experiment.

till then, don't do it!
Don't unpot a plant, no matter the care, the shock will be huge, I havent used RO water, I've used only filtered (for impurities) water, ppm was way too high for the stage plant was, got alot of burns, also cuz of not using RO water it start to form crappy stuff on surface, the roots start to rot and evebtually the plant will die in a few days, BUT I plan to cut her and make clones, just for fun.

Stay tuned for pics tomorrow :Namaste:

I used to soak them in water, then give a shake to the glass after 8 10 hours and seeds on bot of the glass where good and plant em.

Now I pot em into dirt no soak, no paper towel, in soil and a plastic foil with small holes or a plastic cup with few holes. That way you dont touch the seed too much, maybe this would help for your next germinations.

P. S. all the small plants (15 or so) you saw in second "room" are for fun and germinated from 22 seeds, 11 of them are more than 2 years old, and still germinated directly into soil (you can say 80% germination rate, lol)

Amazing results, @HPS Only . Never tried direct soil after soaking. Was the soil soak before and left to drain?

no, I havent soaked the soil ever.
And even now when I dont soak seeds anymore and the answer is still no, I dont soak soil. Instead, I keep it moist (but not too moist as seeds can rot too) keep it moist and place some plastic stuff with some holes poked to make greenhouse effect
like this with plastic cups and some holes

or like this with a plastic foil and some holes

Hey there my farmer friend, as promised yesterday,I'm on the spot (letting all uncovers know, lol) and back with the pics.

here is the overall looking

you can tell that she is stressed and not gonna go forward, alot of leafs are dead and felt off very fast, and the wilt aspect.

So don't try it, begin in hydro if you wanna go this way, dont transplant from soil to hydro.
I saw just today an old topic about moving from hydro (aeroponics clones) into soil, and the shock is present even there.

So changing the medium comes with high stress.

also s*#&t water, just filtred...

made cuts from all, hope to root

and my first clone,

waiting for me to finish my setup and readings, lol

Hi there friends,

Few updates from my garden
W11D6, 76 days total
temp inside 28C
adjusted to 25C
RH 20-25 % max as I want the roots to work at maximum on nuts uptake only from soil
lights 24/0

After few readings I decided to throw away my old big fan, as it was way too old to even exist.
With the spring here the temps beginin to raise outside so inside too so a bigger fan was needed

Overall they fatten nice, now the Night Queen begun to fatten. Alot of pistols turn orange into Think Different.
Still waiting for harvest day, lool.

I've decided also this croop not to flush at all, but to fed till last day. I dono what to do with Think Different, I end up feeding with ripner last time but now I wonder if to keep just on base till I chop chop or to continue giving base + ripener till end....

Some more shots under light

Looking good my friend.
What is it you are using?
Depending on what it is , some are a once a week in flower some are feed every time?
But I agree on feed up until harvest day.
I haven't had a single complaint yet.
If they are eating properly no need to flush IMO.

Stay safe
Bill

Advanced Nutrients on each container say :
"Nutrient Solutions : Mix a new reservoir weekly.
Coco : Daily
Other substrates : 2-4 times/week as necessary."
They both get base
Micro Grow Bloom

and Night Queen recive big bud, bud candy and rhino skin.
Think Different recive overdrive, bud candy and rhino skin.

And I dont know if to cut or not the overdrive from the menu. I am thinking of not giving overdrive from next feed, but just the base and bud candy and rhino till harvest day.

I dont water, just fed, I mix 3-4 fed with water in veg, but in flower only flush if issues the rest is fed.
So they get it once every 48 hours, as humidity is low they eat fast, lol.
Same fan here is 60 quid, what did you pay?
it's 1 year old fan used to blow in the house in summer. dono in £ the price, but something close to that
I started water only this week, I only have bio grow left, was part of reason. Do you think I should make a tea? The last supper.
hahah, no tea, bud some beer and good weed.

how much till you harvest? you day 83? 84?

Bud Candy 2/ml per liter week 1 to 6 of flower.
Overdrive 2/ml per liter week 6 and 7.
Big Bud 2/ml per liter week 2-3 and 4.
Rhino Skin 2/ml per liter week 1 through 6 of flower and a flush week 7.
That's what is recommended according to the schedule.
If you check other journals using those nutrients you will find it used more than recommended, oddly enough.
I only ever used the Big Bud personally.
Did a couple runs and used it from week one of flower to the finish of flower.
Any members have some recommendations on thesenutrients?
And give them the micro grow and bloom according to the schedule.
Up until harvest. IMO

I know, I know, just that the preflower on my autos started on mid-end of week 4.
I have also advanced nutrients calculator with my micro grow bloom feeding schedule downloaded, just that they give a base of 6 weeks + 1 for flush, I've added some extra, so the nuts range changed.
The only thing is that I know none is ready to harvest, so AN should make a feeding schedule for feken autos too, lol
So my chart into flower is like this (with red I mark the total number of weeks.

If you check other journals using those nutrients you will find it used more than recommended, oddly enough.
I'll start dig, every day something to read and to learn, lol.

Stay safe! :Namaste:

I thought this autos will grow faster and different. soon I will have almost same period with a short period veg I had in past with photos.
I keep em 1 week seedling, 4 weeks in veg and another 9 to flower... kinda same like I am with this autos, in 2 days we enter week 12 from seed and night queen is at least 3 weeks from finish, at least! IMO.
Think Different I think I'll harvest by end of the month, or maybe one more week after

What's your thoughts on taking big buds at top off and letting popcorn buds try and grow if they even will.

I'm the same with the mazar auto, I'd say at least 3 weeks. I wanted to hang all four at same time dryin in my cupboard, but it looks like not going to happen. I've read about drying in cardboard box, is my soloution

after all my research on autos this period, I think will stress the heck out of the plant on her last few days, also it will be alot of cuts, so alot to regenerate and then keep on production for the buds.

So I'll chop chop entire plant when it will be time.

The 2 things I wanna do different is I wanna keep em both fed till last day, no flush, no flawless finish and something different again, I wont make whole plant dry trim.
I will trim the Think Different before cutting down, so a wet trimmin, and on night queen a dry, whole plant

p. s. used to cut whole plant, not even fan leafes, thats why I wanna try and do a wet trim on one

to be honest, into the bathroom with vent and humidifier when needed, both not blow into plants directly.
but have to mention, that the appartment where I keep my grow it's not used, so bathroom it's used once a day when I go check em, lol
