Oh yeah, time for Friday’s Featured Cultivar (sounds fancier than strain). Pluto Cut from Ethos Genetics. Autoflower version of Quatro Kush. Ethos congratulates you on your purchase when you open the pack and when I grew my first Ethos (Super Lemon Haze) it turned out to be a 2 fingered leaf mutant plant that I gave away and died in the hot August sun. It’s taken a while to try another Ethos. This one is doing fine so far.

Monday update. I haven’t topped a plant in a year or more, but in hopes of increased yields I topped Autowreck and all of the ones younger than her that were ready, which included PPD and Funkadelic this morning.

And now…. Friday’s Cultivar of the week! Crème de la Compton! A cross of Wilson! From Masonic Smoker in LA x Crème de la Chem which is a Mephisto strain, but this breeding was done by Daz at Nightowl Seeds (his genetics are available at our sponsor @NorthAtlanticSeedCo. They are awesome!) Wilson! Is a tropical fruit flavor bomb Papaya x Banana OG. Crème de la Chem is a cross of Stardawg x CHEMDOGGING. So, well have some kind of fruity cleaner vibe happening.

This is an F3 generation so there will be a lot of different phenotypes in my pack of seeds. This one plant is a lil stocky girl. She is plumping up and the trichomes are mostly cloudy now, but I think she’s still a couple of weeks out.

Monday update. Today I added some mosquito bits in with my recharge water. A few gnats are hanging around my Autowreck plant. It’s the only one in the tents with a differently shaped fabric pot. That one little fact messed up my flow. My process requires soaking in a 5 gallon bucket for IPM and buffering purposes. I couldn’t immerse it completely so I used a shallower pan. Obviously not effective enough that way. I will use those odd shaped pots for outdoor veggies.
The ladies:
24 Carat is a couple weeks from harvest. Getting a scabby end of life look. I have to remind myself it’s about the buds at this point. Not the leaves…

Crème de la Compton will be ready next week sometime. Looks like about an ounce on this lil one.

Unicorn Farts getting that end of cycle look to her 2 but probably 3-4 weeks left for her.

Pluto Cut is the supermodel of the room. Great color, shape, bud spacing and frost.

Autowreck was topped arbitrarily a little late and I think that has slowed her down quite a bit. Not even really flowering yet and she also didn’t like the grow dots early on. She’s a lighter feeder.

Alien vs Triangle has turned into a nice little bush since I topped her. I like her structure. She might get the 3x3 to herself soon.
