I've been struggling to get the pH down on my little seedlings for days. They've got some worrisome brown spots on their leaves now. Is this calcium deficiency? I'm trying to get the pH down to 5.85. It was over 7 for a few days, been between 6.5 and 7 the last 2 days, and finally under 6.5 now.

All the time that I have been a member, I have noticed that a large amount of people use soil. I'm not knocking it, but I do see a lot. I'm a hydro man, always have been. It's a bit more work, but every thing is clean. And you can harvest at least 2 X a year Am I missing something...
