Well after a 5 month wait for health canada to finish my application for my authorization to posses and my licence to produce my meds I| finally got this email yesterday from there offices.
Dear Mr. Campbell,
Thank you for your email dated July 22, 2010, to Mr. Daniel
Galarneau, regarding the processing of your authorization to possess
marihuana for medical purposes and a personal-use production licence. Your
e-mail was forwarded to me so that I may respond to you directly.
Let me begin by acknowledging that the level of service you describe
in your email, particularly the delay in processing your authorization to
possess and licence to produce marihuana for medical purposes, is
unsatisfactory. Thank you for taking the time to communicate your
concerns.
I would like to confirm that we received your application for an
authorization to possess marihuana for medical purposes on March 11, 2010.
The review of your application has been finalized and your new
authorization and licence were issued on August 10, 2010. Your new
authorization and licence will be mailed to you in the coming days and you
should receive it shortly. Health Canada strives to process applications
within an 8-10 week period; however, due to an increased volume of
applications, the standard processing time has been adversely affected.
Finally, I assure you that Health Canada continues to issue
personal-use and designated-person production licences under the terms and
conditions of the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations. If you have any
other questions regarding the Marihuana Medical Access Program, please

So My licence should be here by end of the week or early next week and I can stop feeling so damn paranoid.
But one good thing about Health Canada and our medical marihuana program is they actually allow for enough plants to fill our needs. As for myself I was prescribed 10g /day by my DR so My production licence allows me to have upto 49 plants in any stage of growth , I really think the americans on these forums should get a copy of the canadian federal mmj program outline and start sending copies to every Politician who is at all cannabis friendly because some of these regulations you guys have to deal with down there are unreal like allowing a person to have up to 3 flowering plants but only allowed to have 2 ounces of dried product per month is unreal especially to a person like myself who is allowed 300g per month or just under 10 ounces.
