ClearCrow Coco Coir, LED, Drip To Waste Auto Flower

Hey brother Crow, looking good in the grow room! :high-five: Coming together nicely. Healthy plants in there!

Damn that looks delicious! Hope you had an awesome holiday! :passitleft:
Holiday was fantastic. Last few years have been epic adventures. Hiked solo in the mountains of celand for 2 weeks 2 years ago. And last summer hiked 400km along the coast of Newfoundland solo. This year was just a 4 day kayaking trip in my home province of Manitoba.

Man that is amazing!

Well got the wall framed and sheeted and the door installed. Just need to insulate and maybe panda film the inside of the room. But for now this is good enough.

I like having the plywood walls, able to put a shelf where ever you want then move it a couple days later:lot-o-toke:

Those cookies look good in your screen setup.

Do you get dry zones with those drip rings or do they disperse the water good in coco?

The drop rings work alright. At first I just did a 25 second watering and drip to waste but this method did have dry spots. Now I run the water for 1.5-2 min 3 times a day and reserc the neuts so it's getting alot more saturated with the longer waterings. Still not perfect but seems to be working welll and the ladies don't seem to mind as for the plywood walls yes did that for easy of mounting anything anywhere.

Damn well upon inspection this morning I have realized I brought some outside life inside to the garden. Found a few aphids and one catapillar. Guess time to get some safers plant soap? Realy wanted to do this in veg and should have as soon as I brought them inside but I inspected and didn't see anything. Any help/ advice appreciated.

Damn, CC. Just when it was going so well too.
Spinosad is a spray treatment it’s safe to use in flower. Not neem - veg only.
People will know other methods for sure..
Good luck! Let us know.

Just picked up some green earth insecticidal soap. It was local and didn't want to wait a few days to order somthing. Says to use once a week. Don't want to spray shit on my flowers so I gave them a good spray today. Including exterior of pots and flood tray. Will use again in 3 days and see how the situation. Loooks

Res change day and an addition in the lighting department. Another 600w cool tube gift from a friend just temp until I get a matching hood to what I have then it will all fit better. Only have one hps bulb so I but the mh in for dual spectrum!? Any input on this. Bury told me flowering with mh will keep plants from stretching to much. Need a 6" fan and a new hood.

Last picture is strawpicana outdoor plant that buddy is growing. I help him out at his farm once every week or two and he gives me alot of his old gear.

Hey brother, looking good in there - nice upgrades!

Yeah they will love it! All i can recommend is switching the bulbs on the fixtures every 2-3 days to give all the plants a fair share of both spectrum, otherwise you may have uneven growth.
Bury told me flowering with mh will keep plants from stretching to much.
That's also true - many growers leave their MH bulb in 2-3 weeks after flipping to 12/12 to minimize the stretch. Once vertical growth slows down and the plant converts it's energy into flower production then you throw your HPS in as they prefer the spectrum giving off by an HPS during bloom. With 2 x 600w's in there you're gonna be pulling out loads of herb outta there :slide:
Did you manage to get rid of the critters that made it into your grow?

Been doing inspections 2 times a day quite vigerusly. Still finding them but not as much did a second spray yesterday morning and will keep inspecting and spraying as needed. Seems to be working. Alot of the aphids I find are small and shriveled up so I assume that means they are dead compared to the more plump ones. Is there a mature aphid walking around shitting these little ones out?

I have noticed what I believe is a iron or calmag defficency. Not sure what as they are getting cal mag extra. Maybe I should have changed my res sooner or added a top up solution I'd week. Mixed new res yesterday and upped the calmag and flower neuts. Could this also be from the soap? That was my first thought.. I just sprayed some shit on my plant now my leaves are yellow fuck. But then I also realized this is the first time I've doe a reserc system so maybe just poor feed

Today was a rainy day so I decided to tinker.
Awhile back I ordered a few cob leds off ebay to try and replace the burn out ones in those 2 lights I got from a friend.
Couldn't find cobs that matched the drivers currently in the light so I ordered some that came with drivers.
50w warm white cob with 50w driver.
Ordered 2 and finally got them working. So I order another 2. I don't have hight hopes mostly just a fun little project. But now that I have an idea of how to wire these I am going to order some Cree cobs or citizens off rapid led and make a couple led lights to test out. Will start with a small one for the 2x4. With a few royal blue cobs.
The light I made to say was basically the two heat sinks and aluminum boards out of the small 4 cob light I had. Just boled them to some aluminum angle iron.
Very basic no switch 100w led light. Once I get the other 2 they will go in here for a little 200w autoflower light.

Thats a super cool lighting diy project you have. I ended reading a few journals about cob lighting of coarse it probably was well into the am hours and did not retain any of that info. :lot-o-toke:
I wish I could help with your girls, hell to me it looks like in one picture the yellowing is around the edges and the others it looks like the yellowing is coming from the center. I hope everything is growing green again.
