Re: Gemini's 400watt Bubble-bagseed Grow

The room is a 7'X10' room with a kitchen table. Black plastic around the table separates the veggies from the flowers and the lights for the veggies are two 4' floro's. I am waiting to send my monster into flowering(just over the weekend I ordered a 400watt HPS).
this is how it started in our last house

this is what it looks like now

yesterday I started some seeds soaking

that is them about 18 hours after they were put in the water.

Re: Gemini's 400watt Bubble-bagseed Grow

Today's update:
I checked on my ten seeds I put in the water yesterday, and low and behold 7 of them had cracked open with a tap root visible. They were placed in rockwool dipped in 5.0 ph'ed water, and placed in a jiffy starter pan.The other three got more water and another day in the dark. Still early in the game so hurry up and wait....

Re: Gemini's 400watt Bubble-bagseed Grow

Hell I was starting them in paper towels like twelve years ago, my dad was just putting them in dirt, come to think of it if he had the balls to grow down there in new mexico, he would still be putting the seeds straight in to dirt probably. Anyway, I read about soaking them in the water on here somewhere, can't for the life recall who wrote it, tried it and was hooked. Looks like I got about an 80% success with this and yes much faster.

Re: Gemini's 400watt Bubble-bagseed Grow

Been thinking about doing a NFT grow with a couple of these seeds and was wondering if there were some opinions on that out there? I have a small fountain pump, an extra res, bout three feet of black inside/white outside(some type of drain pipe)like 4" i believe. any thoughts? cause I'm all eyeballs right now......

Re: Gemini's 400watt Bubble-bagseed Grow

so today's update brings more good news.Three more seedlings have broken the surface and by the end of tomorrow I hope to see 4 more rise above the cubes. Here they be on day 5 with lots goin' on.

I got my light yesterday and put the monster on 12/12. I really hope to have some epistles to show in the next couple weeks. till then I will be posting on my little ones, which are as of yet 50% broke top and the other 1/2 are still trying.

Re: Gemini's 400watt Bubble-bagseed Grow

Well there was not much to write about yesterday, so I didn't. I moved some things around under the table and traded the four foot floros for four cfl's. one is a 300 watt equivalent , and the other three are 100 equivalent. I also put the children in their first bubble-bucket with plain water, and a three inch bubble ring made out of 1/4" seeper hose. I will post new pics with their new set of leaves when they come in.

Re: Gemini's 400watt Bubble-bagseed Grow

I am leaning towards about an 80-20 hybrid (Indica-Sativa). most of the good smoke up here is pretty muddled and my seed stash is like 4.5 years old....well at least a few of them are, and when I come across some, I save 'em. I found a few seeds in some afgan, if I remember right like three in a quarter pound. I just put them in with the rest and figure when that one comes around, it's gonna be good. What type it is for sure is called the ever popular Hellifino.
