What is the darkest purple bud to grow from Herbies. I just want to see some color idc about potency. I have never seen bud that is like all the pics I see on internet as purple. Came across some gdp but never crazy when it was all purple just seems like gotta be a plant in a 100 that gets that purple I might be wrong can someone recommend the most purple bud I could order from Herbies cause they are sexy seed company. Just want it for my own person use.:thanks:

Ohh I forgot to add and without lower temps cause I feel that's some shady thing just to turn a plant a color for bag appeal. Also I don't want to grow any auto's so please don't recommend an auto.

I don't think there's a strain that's certain to turn purple, especially without lower temps - You'll likely have to mimic autumn to get autumn colours.
I haven't heard of a purple strain that doesn't have green phenotypes.
Don't know why you think it's shady, you do what you can to improve taste, strenght and yield, so why not improve looks aswell?
However there's a lot of purple strains just use the search function on herbies and search for purple, blue, berry etc.

Happy growing :Namaste:

I'll be running THC Bomb and I've seen a couple runs turn out purple. I had a strain one time that was so purple it was black but i cant remember the name. THC Magazine (The Hemp Connoisseur) released a February issue with a strain review of a stupid dark purple bud. Not sure if they offer their magazines online I'll look when I'm home. Send me a pm so I can respond to it I'll even take a pic of the article. The temperature thing really does work and it's not shady it's natural. Best of luck!

I can't send a pm yet cause i'm even a noob grower here without enough post to pm. But would love a pic of the article u are talking about if u don't mind.:thanks: Also reason I was thinking it's shady cause you are stressing the plant I thought giving it a cold cycle for turning purple. Feel like if I fed my plants no nitrogen and tried to sell or say I have gold leafed weed. But not really sure if the cold is causing plant stress to the point of flavor, thc, and terpene damage so I might be wrong thinking it's shady to do for bag appeal.

It's not cold like winter, just cooler temps(~18 degrees c) which happens naturally outdoors and doesn't stress the plant.
It can also be achieved by watering with colder water.
Flavour and strenght isn't affected by the lower autumn temps.

Found it!
