Welcome to the 420 Magazine Nug of the Month Contest.

Please submit a photo of your best nug. (There is a separate contest thread for plants)

The nug must be your own, either purchased or grown. Optionally, we'd love to hear about the strain, taste, aroma, potency, effect, weight or any other frosty details that you're willing to share.

The contest will be open for submissions from the 1st until the 14th at midnight PST. At one minute past midnight on the 15th, we will begin voting for a winner.

The winner earns 420 rep points, "Nug of the Month" title, 420 Mag T-Shirt, 420 Mag Stickers and a 420 Magazine Nug Jar!

Monthly winners are automatically eligible for our prestigious "Nug of the Year" contest in January.

Rules:

1. The contest is open to members with 50 or more posts. Members must also have at least 50 posts to be entitled to vote.

2. Contest entries must be original photos of your own nug. The nug photo may include several nugs or a cola. This nug may be grown by yourself or purchased at a legal medical Marijuana co-op, collective or dispensary.

3. Entries must include ONLY photos of the nug. But you may add one photo as a reference point for size or a closeup/macro.

4. Maximum of two photos per member. Both photos must be of the same strain or batch of nugs. Updating photos throughout the month is not allowed.

5. Remember to upload your photo through our Photo Gallery before posting it on this thread: Photo Gallery Guide - How to Resize, Upload & Post Photos

6. Nugs must be dry and ready to smoke or vaporize. Any nug that appears to be too moist to smoke or vaporize will be deemed an invalid entry. No "wet" nugs please.

7. Self-nominations only. Past winners are ineligible for 3 months from date of win.

8. Competition is open to the first 25 entries.

9. Promotion (i.e. campaigning) for yourself or a friend, or any attempt at voting more than one time per person (i.e. multiple user names, etc.) is considered cheating and is prohibited. Promotion also includes family and friends who register a new account for voting purposes. Campaigning in any form - including but not limited to mentioning the entry in any thread outside the contest, a signature link to the entry and campaigning via PMs - will result in the entry being removed from the month's contest. A second instance, either in a different contest during the same month or in any future contest, will attract a lifetime ban from all future contests.

10. Editing Photos: You may resize and/or crop your photos, however adding text, images and effects are prohibited. This makes it a fair contest for all, as not everyone can afford photo editing programs and/or know how to use the them.

11. Staff members from other cannabis forums are not permitted to enter the contest.

By posting a submission into this contest, it is assumed that you have read and agree to abide by each of the aforementioned rules. Consider your submission your "virtual signature".

Here is our beautiful CKS Purple kush. She was a breeze to grow and pushed the limits constantly with her. Buds have an earthy aroma and has a sweet and almost piney taste. This nug weighed 13 grams by herself. She is definately an evening med and when made into edibles, you better clear out 6 hours of your day.

Hello everyone,this is a bud from,AMNESIA HAZE FROM SOMA SACRED SEEDS.these buds came off the plant I entered in the plant of the month contest.clipped at 8 week's and 4 days,curing for 4 days,smokes amazing now,i can't imagine the taste in 3 week's..smells like fresh pine cone,with some Oakwood and lime following immediately,one hit quitter,for sure..I left a few leaves on the lower buds for you guys to see those crystals.

This is the same bud my little farmer is holding, AMNESIA HAZE without the Sun on it,the sun made the buds look too brown for my taste, enjoy & HAPPY GROWING!

Good day all like to enter dutch passion auto brooklyn sunrise.grown under 1200w led in mylar tent in 11 litre pot of biobizz light mix.a joy to grow produces heavy dense buds.and gave me 4 oz dry buds.done 10 week seed to finish so quite quick.smoke is heavy and sits you down for sure.buds very frosty .look like glass.they all want some.ha ha

Hey everyone. Nice looking entries coming up here!!

I am going to enter my Candy Cane Auto nugs sitting beside my lighter. They are not large by any means but they sure pack a punch, a fruity punch at that! They are a hybrid from Crop King Seeds and is a nice relaxing and smooth smoke. Dried for 6 days and is now curing. Picture is from 2nd day into curing.

I'm going to resubmit my Northern Lights Auto. The large bud is 7.2g and was thoroughly enjoyed with friends on 4/20/2016. The rest is still curing and being sampled on when the times call for a good smoke. Among the many jars it's always one I go back to when need to sleep or relax after work. Knocks me out like a Mike Tyson punch, taste of pine and earthy overall... Smooth on the lungs and so so potent. My first and so far my favourite CKS strain, glad I could share this prized specimen of mine.

Strain: Girls Scout Cookies (Forum Cut)

Grown in a 2 gal pot filled with coco coir and perlite. Fed advanced nutrients. Flowered under 1000 watt hps. Vegged for 3 weeks and flowered for 9 weeks. This bud had a 6 week cure to get the best full flavor of the forum cut cookies. Just covered in frost

This month I'll submit my White Cheese Auto. I find her more cerebral than body, more like a good drunk. Can still function and doesn't make me sleepy. Taste-wise, when vaped, I don't get a cheese flavor, but rather a smooth draw with a brief lemony pine cleaner after taste that fades quickly.
