Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur, has just posted a tweet that is unequivocally a support for cannabis.

Stoners couldn’t have dreamed of a better ambassador.

This ambassador has a strike force and a power that have been constantly increasing in recent months allowing him to reach targets that even daily ads and commercials could never.

Elon Musk, the world’s most influential chief executive officer, has just given a huge gift to cannabis lovers. The tech mogul has just promoted cannabis for free. Marijuana is being legalized in different states across the country after decades of being banned.

The serial entrepreneur has just posted a message that will resonate with weed enthusiasts around the world. This message can be summed up in three numbers.

“420,” simply tweeted the Techno King, as Musk is known at Tesla, on Feb. 4. He added no further comments.

Message Viewed By Millions In Less Than 24 Hours
The three-number message resonated with millions of Twitter users. It has already been viewed by more than 51.3 million in less than 24 hours.

The comments from the users of the platform reflected the satisfaction of the stoners who could not imagine benefiting from such a huge promotion from the boss whose news has been the most covered in recent months by the media.

“I like weed,” commented a Twitter user.

“Possibly your best tweet,” added another user.

“Nice,” quipped another user.

This isn’t the first time Elon Musk has used references to cannabis. Moreover, the last tweet was posted the day after a court decision having cleared him of allegations of fraud made by investors.

The latter based their accusations on tweets from Musk in the summer of 2018 saying he wanted to take Tesla private and to have secured the financing. In these famous contentious tweets he had used 420.

“Am considering taking Tesla private at $420. Funding secured,” the serial entrepreneur wrote on Aug.7, 2018. “Shareholders could either to sell at 420 or hold shares & go private.”

He’s also used the same numbers before in another big deal: the $44 billion acquisition of Twitter that he finalized on October 27. The tech mogul had offered $54.20 per Twitter share.

Musk And Weed
Musk’s Twitter message history is filled with tweets mentioning 420.

“There are now 420 operational Starlink satellites,” he rejoiced in 2020 by touting the expansion of the satellite internet access service developed by his company SpaceX.

“Due to inflation 420 has gone up by 69,” the billionaire said in 2021.

The 420 reference is also a rallying code for marijuana enthusiasts. April 20 or 4/20 is indeed known to be “Weed Day” or practically a holiday for pot lovers. Smoking weed on April 20, preferably at 4:20 a.m. or p.m., has become something of a custom for cannabis lovers.

It turns out that the tradition began in 1971 with a group of teenagers known as the Waldos, who grew up in Marin County, Calif., according to several reports. They were called the Waldos because they liked to hang out leaning against a wall and smoke pot at 4:20 p.m. each day. This “wall” was not far from San Rafael High School.

They excavated a 4/20 flag and stamped letters from the same era as evidence, all used as a code to designate cannabis.

Since then, the famous number 420 has been used for various reasons, even in movies. A number of clocks in Quentin Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction” were set to 4:20.

In 2003, California governor Grey Davis signed into law SB 420, the “medical marijuana task force” bill introduced by state senator John Vasconcellos. The bill regulated the use of marijuana.

Musk, who lived in California until 2021, has smoked cannabis in public. He smoked a joint live in September 2018 during a podcast show with very controversial celebrity podcaster Joe Rogan.

Looking at the past, expect Musk to continue promoting cannabis in cryptic messages.
