“I would like to nominate @Carmen Ray ‘s Journal for grow journal of the month please.
She grows beautiful plants with excellent dialogue amongst members, on her dining room table under very trying South African electrical grid circumstances, dealing with power grid blackouts that they refer to as “load shedding”. It’s a challenge to say the least.
Like most growers, she encounters issues such as deficiencies, and she crowd sources the members very well to encourage participation in fixing them. She does it in a manner that most probably don’t even realize the knowledge they are gaining, making all who watch become better growers.
She is the perfect example of both a great person and that anyone can pull off a great grow no matter their skills, or lack thereof, if they utilize the tools this site provides. I think she is a poster-child for a great representative to your site.
Her journaling and picture quality are outstanding, and she brings a bit of fun along the way. It’s very inspirational to see her grow such beautiful plants under trying conditions. If she can do it then anyone can, and her journal is a great reflection of that, and the fun that goes with it.”
