I believe the smaller pots (3gl) contributed to an early flush of the nutrients, causing the purpling on the majority of the buds. Also, Ive had the lights at [ 10/14 - on/off ] for the last 5 days. I believe these two changes may potentially help the TAC count to increase. Maybe… lol 😝

Anyone use their De-humidifier water IN their Humidifier? I need a dehumidifier in my lung-room and a Humidifier in the tent…since I have heavy water and also no water softener..I have to get bottled water for the humidifier..(or use collected rain when have enough for it AND the plants)…i read allot of ppl using Dehumidifier water to WATER PLANTS…but many say is bad as metals from humidifier can leach in…but I’m just wanting to use it in the air……hmmm🤔

Got me thinkn..it’d b ok during vedge…..maybe not so good once buds start forming.
I learned a lot from PowerUp this time around. For one thing, her stretch is for sure moderate, which I was able to predict accurately using measurements from the previous grow. I was able to get four more cuttings from the mother stalk and will be reversing one of the cuttings in order to create a S1 generation. The progeny will not be the same PowerUp, but it will be close. Keeping a mother plant alive is no easy task in a small apartment. That being said, the mother plant's health is declining and is almost a year old. Time to make room for the next winner 🥇🥰

*update: all pictures featured above where taken on day 44 of flower. oops 😅 *

Hello friends. I have successfully germinated two B.C. Bud Depot B.C. God Bud seeds, I am way too excited Lol I am sorry for slacking on the site, I have just been really busy, my ADHD arse has been really working hard with these short days, legit I need to hurry up and become rich and famous so that I can winter in warmer climates like birds do 😂 FRFR Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Buenos Posada, and last but not least Happy Hanukkah 🕎🎄🎊🤗
Cheers for letting me know, MY Pro Grow 500 apparently has red in it but I will get a 200W HPS so I can get decent sized plants & play either a combination of both.
What you let me know has filled in the gap from 9 years growing, 5 years break & new to LEDs which has me feeling like a novice again so thanks

Nine year, eh? That's a lot of growing!

Glad that you found the info helpful.

Actually in different spurts it's longer, last house I had built i had an "internal workroom" built but my daughter was at a nosey age so had 9 years in that one. That was 7 years ago. I actually started in 1995 building grow cabinets in Tauranga NZ. But in the last 7 years with LEDs I've done nothing. The LEDs have impressed me with the mass of lateral branches but at 4 weeks old now I thought they would be taller, big learning curve & im loving it.

Happy Growing :passitleft:
One thing I've learnt from my first grow is how to be patient 🙏

If you want to really learn patience, try out some non-420 growing
Here are some of the toughest seeds I’ve started
lisianthus flowers

I used a seedbank but none of the 420 ones as I'm in Australia and the ones I got were sold as "suvonier" purposes not for growing lol that's the only way we can legally buy them here unfortunately 🙃

They are still alive. I didn’t have very many only a small handful.
How damp should I keep the soil?
And are they supposed to clump up into a pile?

They usualky clump up into a food source, such as half an avocado. It needs to be a bit moist but not so moist that you get runoff. If just scraps give you runoff or soggyness then you need more carbon to even it out.
