which is better,, mh lamps or fluorescent for seedlings, and cloning. Is there really that much of a difference in results?

I've always used my HID lamps from the get go, but I know a lot of growers use flouros or cfl's to cut costs.

??? my chamber dimensions are 3x4x7. I wz wanting to use a 1000w HID systm,, after researchin, I believe that I am goin to have heat issues,, ne ideas on how to keep temps in optimal range?

You will need very good ventilation, and with summer coming on you may need an air conditoner.
