Older plant? Normal..Even some younger plants can have yellow leaves.Don't worry about the older leaves..As long as the new growth and or buds are ok , Your doing good,from what I have been told yellow leaves are leaves drained of nutrients. may be way off but that makes sense to me. Redneck is correct. All plants use up their old leaves, then a chemical cuts off their nourishment from the stem, and they fall off.
