Yellowing in veg

It is canna professional and sometimes i use canna professional plus (canna professional is 1ec and pro plus is 1.2ec )

The thing is that canna advertise cannazym as something to use with their soils so that you can re use them.

But they dont state anywhere if you need to add lime, what kind of lime and how much quantity if you going to re use their soil.

They just say use cannazym if you going to re use our soil. Thats it.

@JoetheChro will have more knowledge on this than I, and especially because if I’m not mistaken your “soil” is actually a “soilless” mix which I have not used.

Based on what I’ve read so far you may be better off just buying new medium for each grow however if you do want to reuse the medium then you’re going to want to look into different articles on reusing your specific medium. CANNA most likely will not give you this information easily as it does not make fiscal sense to tell you how to reuse your medium.

Based on what I’ve read so far you may be better off just buying new medium for each grow however if you do want to reuse the medium then you’re going to want to look into different articles on reusing your specific medium. CANNA most likely will not give you this information easily as it does not make fiscal sense to tell you how to reuse your medium.

I had so many problems with canna in flowering. Basically had a 5 week flush as they were so sensitive. It’s annoying as it is expensive. I’d recommend not using them again. Love their nutes but soil meh.

Thats exactly my thoughts.

But they do say that cannazym makes their soils reusable!

I will give a read but im sure i allready read it lol.

Being having a lot of problems in the past and it was very difficult to find soil here.

But i got lucky i guess. I found a guy he imports anything i ask him cause he has company.

I seen this guy mr cannuck on youtube he is doing organic grows with just amendmends but i cant find that brand to deliver here, yet.

I would love to just top dress 2 or 3 times for a whole grow

Yeah now I’m confused because, A) if it’s soil then your water ph has no real effect and is irrelevant any way. B) if it’s specifically telling you to use 5.8 that also is too low for soil. So them calling it “soil” but it requiring a hydro touch doesn’t make sense. I’m gonna have to read more about this stuff because it’s just not making any sense to me at all. Their name schemes don’t help me though lol

A lot of mediums like that are inert and don’t hold Cal well. This is just my experience as I said but my feed at week 6 veg getting ready to flip:
5.8 pH 2.0EC Environment 83F & 60% RH
650-700 ppfd. Under 660w LEDs dimmed to 50%
Anything over 5.9 and I get that nitrogen toxicity like curl.


I don’t think your environment is the issue tho if you want I can dm you my last runs picture showing the exact issue earlier on(N curl and light green growth)!

You know what, after using canna soils for some time im going to say that your settings on ph and ec makes sense.

I was always thinking that the N curl was because of too much N in their soil, lol

You run 5.8 till harvest?

About ppfd im at 1.1metre distanse from canopy and 400ppfd and they grow fine but our lights are different.

If I go 6.0 they droop for an hour after I water them as if they got shocked or something! I swear this media isn’t worth the headache! But I’ve been working on it and don’t wanna switch to something else that comes with pest or another set of issues!

I plan to switch to 100% coco bricks and just decompress them myself vs premixed bags!

im Switching to Coco next round. The “soil” is too aerated for my liking and if I have to run coco like feeds I’d rather be in coco so I get faster growth, faster reactions to my feed etc.
