Yellow spots or stain on leaf, help

Hi I'm growing big buddah blue cheese, I'm using soil, under 250w hps

I had a similar problem about 2 weeks in I woke up to yellow spots on few leaves which ended up killing the yellow areas but the rest of the leafe remained healthy, I thought maybe I had It to close to the lights because it was the top leave that where affected, so I raised the lights and that seemed to solve it

I'm at week 3 and its seems to be coming back but on the lower leaves this time

The plant is in good healthand is growing fast as ever but I wanted to flip to flower next week and I'm worried it might be a fungus or mold now

I'm just here for the knowledge that others impart. Most likely they will ask for a lot of info included grow media, nutes, ph, etc. I'm dealing with some weirdness in my girls as well. Good luck and I look forward to seeing what it turns out to be :peace:
True
Like it's fricken rocket science

I had this as well.... I think it's some sort of deficiency,,, magnesium, iron or calcium... check that out... and I didn't need to a but load of info.. LOL

I would honestly top it, give it two weeks, then consider flipping.
I’d need to know your medium, nutrient, feed schedule, and input pH before I can get you pointed in the right direction.

Answer those questions, let’s figure it out.

My timer went on to flower a few days ago without me knowing but it was only on for 2 days would it still be safe to top, she still grows up with new leaves, thanks for the advice I can send pictures of top if you like

Hi the soil ph is 6.75 and I try to get the water natural 7.0 maybe slightly under

Iv been using multi purpose compost which I seem to get best results out of all soils

I'm using miracle grow with nutrient ratio 2-1-3 but iv purchase bloom nute from online

I water when the soil feels dry about every day and a half/2 days, and give nutes every 2 waters

Iv been using a 250hps at about 8/10 inches which she loves

Thanks for the advice about topping, iv been slightly worried because my timer flipped to flower for 2 days lol so I didn't want to top, she still growing upward very fast so would it still be okay I can take pictures of the top if needed thanks

I don’t think 2 Days will trigger it.
Top at the red mark and when the blue shoots grow out, tie them down. (LST)

In soil, you really should be inputting at 6.2-6.5. If you’re using a prong soil pH tester, those honestly are useless.

I have a “how to water properly” link in my signature I would suggest reading if you haven’t before. Priceless information.

Don’t be tempted to trim (Defol) anything just yet.

Thanks for the help it really helped, I decided to top her and I'm going to have look a little more into the watering frequency I'll keep you guys updated on the progress fingers crossed
Emilyas writeup on watering is top notch.

Yeah it really was a great help, I'm going to water every 3 day rather than 2 considering I'm in soil, but would you suggest to up the amount of nutes or just feed nute every other water session bringing feeds closer together rather than up the amount of nutes thanks
